I purchased two of these for my twins to use at their schools field day because I knew the ground would be damp the first part of the day. I was right, and these were perfect! They prevented my kids and a couple of their friends bottoms from getting wet when they had to sit on the ground. The only down fall was trying to figure out how to fold up after the first use. Since then, we’ve used a few more times and it has gotten easier to fold up. Cleaning was easy for me also as I through it in the washing machine on gentle cycle and hang dry-instructions state Do Not do this! Sometimes I do spot clean depending on what we used the blankets for and how dirty they got. So clean at your own risk and for what works best for you. I’ve had other people asking me where did I purchase because they loved them, the size and water Proud bottoms. Two thumbs up!

Took it to the beach for couple of days at Playa. First problem is not sand proof, the sand sticks to the blanket and it is possible to remove it unless it dries out. Second you are getting PVC made table cloth that advertised as beach blanket :-). Very hard to handle , lay it down and put it back The rope closing it is made in the middle, it is about 8 inch stitched horizontally in the middle, to close it you need to assemble in very unusual way and you will never do it right in the end of your beach day.

This is good enough for about two people to sit comfortably. But when you have a family of 4 to 6, expect to be fighting over the area. I love how easy it is to clean off the sand in the sand does not stick to the blanket itself. These are very easy to fold in stores quite well and small places.
