This is a beautiful globe. It's a bit larger than I expected, but that is a plus for me. I ordered it because I homeschool, and this globe instantly got the attention of my grandkids.

This is the second globe I’ve purchased. First one is still lighting up after 7+ years - original bulb! (Now I’ve probably jinxed it!) I put it to good use often when my family is sailing remote oceans, as I can track their progress due to the intricate labeling on this globe. So much detail! I just purchased a second one and shipped to granddaughter. Now she, too, is tracking her Dad sailing from Hawaii to Tahiti! Thank you for a product that has brought excitement and joy and even a sense of aecurity for many years! ♥️🙏🇺🇸

The price seems a little high but I don't think I could have found a 12" globe that I would have liked better. The feature where it shows topography with the light off and fills in separate countries colors when the light is on is a great idea. I would like a little more detail, like for instance more European rivers but that may simply require a larger globe. Also the top and bottom halves don't mate perfectly at the equator and when the light is on the region around the equator is a little darker than the higher latitudes, no doubt due to some sort of internal backing. And there's just a little bit of crumpling in places but not too much. It is only because of the workmanship that I don't rate it high in 'value for the money' but it's obviously an academic and not a decorative globe. Overall I'm happy with it and thrilled to have a globe again.

I got this to add it to my at home office. The quality is unmatched. It didn’t light up right outside the box. But I followed the instructions and was able to get it working quickly. Love it

Bought this globe for my son for his birthday and he loved it! The two different views (topography and geography) you get with the light turned on and off is great. I'm very glad we bought this one over a standard globe. It came very well protected in a good sized box.
