This is now my favourite kitchen knife. I use it for all fruit and veg cutting along with other things, it is very sharp and well made with good balance on the hand. Its lightweight and the wood gives it a nice Japanese quality look. We have been using it now for several weeks with no degradation of the blade or handle so I believe it will give many years of service. Highly recommended. Utility knife, perfect size, not to big nor too small.
