The mats cannot be cut to fit a shorter joist bay or modified in any way to fill multiple joist bays. However, more than one mat may be installed in a jost bay where there are barriers such as cross bracking or blocking. Thin-set or self-leveling mortar to warm tile, stone, vinyl, or laminate flooring. This 9.5-Feet by 16-Inch 120V mat is great for installations in bathrooms, kitchens, entryways, or any room with cold floors and may also add warmth to the entire room and keep your floors dry.
