Looks good, but short life.
The look matches my bike. While it has a good look there is a tendency in hot weather for leather wrap to shrink over time. The metal cup at the connection bracket is very thin and poorly designed. Over time this weak link will manifest itself tearing the thin metal making the connection fail.My 1st Kruzer Kaddy purchase lasted two years before this failure. I just purchased my second. I hope this one fairs better. Construction is identical to original so i’m not optimistic.

The method of fastening to the handlebar itself is fine.
I would not buy this item again. I bought it for a 3 week, cross-country motorcycle trip. It will not stay tight. The first time I noticed it was loose, it was about to fall off while traveling at 75 MPH in Montana. After approximately three attempts at tightening it and having it come loose again, I removed it permanently. I was concerned that it could fall off and cause an accident, damage another vehicle, and/or hurt someone. The problem is with where the cup holder mounts to the handle bar mount. The method of fastening to the handlebar itself is fine.

Terrible Quality
opened this box up and the leather is glued on poorly. it was sticky all on the edges where the glue had melted and the leather had started to slip off.Literally the worst purchase I have made on Amazon to date.

This is a great item for the motorcyclist that goes long distances.
This is the second one of these my husband has purchased. The first one fell off on a long distance trip and he had it for about eight years. It had just worked itself loose. He immediately wanted to get another one and I found the best price here on amazon.com. The first one we received was the incorrect finish and was damaged and looked as if the box had been run over. The holder was oval shaped! However, they quickly sent the correct chrome finish and it was in pristine condition. He uses this not only for bottles of water but sometimes keeps his phone in it instead on short trips. He is considering getting another just to use on long distance trips so he can have two.

Perfect!
I have been needing a drink holder for my bike. My riding buddies would be able to take a sip while we are at a stop light, and I always had to wait until we take a break - maybe once every hour or so. When it is hot outside, this is a problem.I love the way this looks on my bike. Most of my friends have the chrome version of this, so you know I had to be different. I mounted mine between my windshield and handlebars. If I put it the other way, it would hit my tank. I keep both insert with me. I usually use the bigger one with my bottle of water. I keep the other one with me in case I buy something a different size while out on a ride. This will be one of those accessories that I will take with me if I buy a different bike.

Well made, looks good, works perfect.
Put this on my 2010 FLHX. Couldn't be happier! Sturdy, well crafted and designed.. plus it looks good! You will find that there are a few things that aren't going to fit, kind of like in an older model car. So far hasn't really been an issue. A monster energy can is about as big as will fit.

Worked good for about two months
Worked good for about two months, and then the screw holding the cupholder to the mount let go on my way to work one morning. Shimmed the screw, and has been working fine since. Would definitely recommend checking it often on a v-twin, especially a Harley.

Meh
Looks great. Tends to slip on handlebar. Doesn't fit well if you have a wide windshield bag...not enough room to easily get a bottle or can in and out of it....and then it rotates too easily on the bar. Suppose I could fix that with some friction tape....
