Below is a very slightly edited version of a letter I sent to Moonster, unsolicited. I never write reviews, but I was so pleased with this bag I felt it only fair to spread the word."I am writing to tell you how pleased I am with your leather messenger bag that I bought off Amazon last Autumn (16 Inch Laptop Bag, order # [redacted]).It’s not just because it’s functional, with solid straps, the right compartments, sizes, etc.Nor is it just because it looks so good (I have received more compliments on this bag than any other I have owned).It’s because of its *durability*. Let me explain.A little while ago I was about to drive from home to a cafe to get some work done (and have a coffee, naturally). Of course, I had my Moonstone bag with me, filled with my road warrior items: iPad, iPad keyboard, Apple Pencil, “Tens” sunglasses in case, notebook, pen, battery pack, lightning cable, wallet, business card case, etc. On approaching my car in the drive, I saw that my wife’s car was blocking me in. So I put my bag down in front of my car, Got into her car and moved it to an on-street parking spot, went back to my car, and drove off. Almost immediately, I heard a strange scraping sound. After driving 100 ft or so, I stopped, looked in my rear view mirror, and saw something brown lying in the middle of the road. Had I hit an animal?! No, thank goodness. But then the horror of what actually had happened hit me: I had forgotten to pick up the bag I had left in front of my car, and that lump in the road was my Moonster messenger bag, dragged under my car for 50 ft or so!With that sinking feeling in my gut, I got out of the car (it’s a good thing we live on a sleepy residential drive) and walked back to retrieve my bag, prepared for the worst (and, to be honest, very embarrassed at my mistake). I picked up the bag - it was intact! I examined the contents — everything was there and, to my shock and amazement — NOTHING WAS BROKEN. Not the iPad screen, not the delicate Apple Pencil, not even the Tens sunglasses (although the case they were in was slightly crushed). I was so relieved, and decided right then to send you this note of appreciation.I attach some photos of the bag as it is now [I am not attaching these to the review because I don't want people to mistake them for photos of the bag as it arrived from Moonster!]. You can see that it is simply just a little more distressed than before, with some slight damage to the outer pocket zip and leather right above that. I’m also missing one of the circular snap covers (you don’t happen to have a spare I could buy from you, do you?). But given that the bag WAS DRAGGED FIFTY FEET OR SO UNDER MY CAR, I consider these to be minor blemishes, and continue to use your bag daily. Thank you for such a great product."

Bought this for my partner for our anniversary and he loves it. He uses it for work and it holds plenty of paperwork, notebooks, his laptop, work phone etc. it comes in a lovely box too and has a zip closure under the satchel fold. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
