It hurts to see her go I no we all knew that she had great and wonderful potential for so many great amazing things and her life was cut short in order to protect Naofumi and be his shield and make the sacrifice move that he was gonna make and saved who knows how many from death and countless numerous possibilities of injuries and hurt a bit of a cowards part but very brave to announce that Raphtalia loved him as a man not as a father figure and that sh herself actually loved him to I hope and wish that Atla will be remembered as a HERO to the world and it be recognized as that her brother will step up as the Gauntlet Hero for his sister

I've been reading this series since volume 5 was released. I bought the first 3 volumes at once and read them back to back. There have been a few slower chapters here and there, but plenty of plot and character developments. I also started buying the manga version when It premiered in English, and liked the artwork. So of course when the anime premiered I had to watch that, and plan to buy it when it is released in North America.I used to buy my books from indigo since I earn plum points and airmiles there, but they chose to cheat me on this volume even though I had preordered and prepaid for it. The book cost a couple of dollars more than at indigo (19.10 instead of 17.28) but I got it. I am looking forward to reading the next few volumes as the series comes to a conclusion. From what I read about the ending it promises to go out with a bang.The entire series is recommended to all who like scifi/fantasy stories, and especially those about people summoned to another world to fight monsters or evil beings. The story starts with betrayal and lost trust but soon becomes one of loyalty and friendship, though deceit and betrayal continue to happen. Besides Naofumi, Raphtalia is my favourite character. She turns out to be so much more than is originally shown, but Naofumi is a typically dense male who can't see what's right in front of him.
