Slick, light, and life saving is how I would describe this trekking poles. Used them on my summit bid last week as well as my venture through 3 miles of underground caves with uneven ground and boulders. I cannot believe the price for these carbon fiber poles. They weigh together at 14 oz on my sensitive scale at work which even beats the advertised 16oz. Way to go NEBO. Never heard of this brand before but will keep an eye out for more of their competitive products

I have used them about 6 times so far backpacking in AK and they have been great so far. They are very light weight and have been able to support plenty of weight when I needed to rely on my poles from my feet slipping.

These are solid and affordable poles. They've helped me up and down many steep hills. Not as pricey as REI's offerings, and far better quality than Walmart, they're just the right balance for my level of hiking. The measurement lines are very useful when extending after storage.Next test is holding up a guy-line-and-tarp shelter for an afternoon nap up on the mountaintop.

Lightweight but very sturdy. Clamps are easily tightened to maintain pressure and not slip. In the past I've used poles with twist locks and they reach a point when they slip when supporting my weight and couldn't be adjusted to hold. So, the ability to tighten is important to me.

I love these poles!! It is the first pair that i have had. They are light wieght, fold up easily and are assisting me as I am recovering from an IT band and Piriformis issue. But. I am sure that i will use them for long hikes. I am very happy with my purchase.

Just in time. Last night I decided to take my son out for an adventure after work but had little time. When I got home to quickly put my pack together, I noticed that my new NEBO Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles showed up as promised. I decided to throw them in. Boy was I glad that did. The trailhead starts at 8000 ft. in elevation and the lake we wanted to check out was at 9440 ft. elevation. All in 1.2 miles! As you can imagine the trail was steep and rocky. I was too tired to notice performance when I pulled them out of the pack, but during my first rest stop I fiddled around with the poles. They were extremely easy to adjust and I couldn't help but notice how light they were. By the time we made it to the lake, I was pretty tired. On our way down, this is where I fell in love with my new NEBO Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles. They were everything I hoped they would be. Light, durable, easy to adjust, and seemed to fit just right. I hike a ton here in Utah. I have always hesitated to take Trekking poles due to weight. These poles have earned a spot in my pack. I won't leave on a hike without them.

I love my new NEBO Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles! My main beef with my old aluminum poles was weight and the locking rings would slip on me. These NEBO poles solve both of these issues, and more! The light weight is amazing, and when I lock them in place, they stay that length! I took them on my 20 mile hike-run adventure across the Utah Wellsville Mountains and back - recognized as one of the steepest mountain ranges in the US from base to top. This was a great test for my new NEBO poles, and they did not disappoint!The foam handles were very comfy and cushioning, and the straps were very functional and adjustable. I was able to easily adjust and set the length in seconds, and once locked in place, they stay put! I could easily change length, even on the run, when I needed one shorter for side-hill sections. The light weight and solid feel helped extend my endurance range on steep, rocky climbs and reduce late trip fatigue on this long adventure, saving my legs for the final 4 mile descent, and helping save me from any falls on the overgrown trail. During non-pole sections I could easily lock them down short and attach them to the front of my running vest on the fly. These NEBO poles are a great addition to my year round adventure gear closet - Thanks!!
