Drop the pressure.
Bought the retraining magnet to check a pressure sending unit that was bad. Worked great. It was bad. Bought 4 new TPS units and installed myself. Followed the Corvette instructions and set tire pressure at 30 psi, placed the magnet on the stem and no results. Contacted the TPS manufacturer and they recommended lowering the pressure to 24 psi. That did not work so I increased the pressure to 40 psi. That did not work, so with the magnet still on the tire stem I started lowering the pressure back to 30 psi and the horn blew indicating the tire TPS was set. Did the other 3 tires the same and everything is working fine. Just a tip to anyone having trouble with their magnet no working.

01 Corvette C5 TPMS relearn!
No tire shop could program my new GM sensors to my 2001 Corvette C5 and saw online that this magnet could help me do it on my own! It literally took me all of 3 minutes to complete the relearn with this tool! Looked up the video on how to do it and worked perfect on the first try! I bought new rims and had them install (4) new GM OEM sensors as my old sensor batteries were dead! I’ve heard other magnets will work but this made it very easy and was well worth the money! Hope this helps a fellow corvette owner!

It just works!
Got this TPMS sensor relearn training magnet when I had to replace a set of tires on my c5 Corvette (due to their age). I also bought a new set of aftermarket TPMS sensors and had them installed with the new tires. However, the tire store was not able to program the new sensors. I tried myself, using info from the Corvette owner's forum, using some magnets from my brother (an engineer who assured me they were very powerful). I was unsuccessful, then decided to try the doughnut shaped magnet (which many on the forum recommended initially). The magnet worked perfectly, and programming the TPMS sensors for all 4 wheels was a breeze. I am very pleased with the product and its effectiveness!

Nice but pricey
These items are sold all over the internet and overpriced for being a covered magnet. It did not work to reset my tire pressure (tpms) like I figured it would on the 2010 f150. So, I have to find something else or figure out why it failed to reset.

Not so good. I guess it was worth the experience, but not the cost.
Didn't work to reset TPsensors on 2013 Avalanche. No instructions were provided to support use or application. Disappointing at best. Perhaps it can be used on another project. I welcome anyone's comments on successful application.

Worked Like it was Supposed to.
After trying to reset four aftermarket TPMS sensors on a 97 corvette with every magnet I could scrounge around the house I decided to see what tools were available. The specialty sensors that are also on Amazon hurt to look at based on the price. Based that I thought a sufficiently should work I decided to chance it and purchase the ATEQ magnet. Took about 30 seconds to sync all of the sensors. Perfectly effortless and the rubber casing is definitely gentle on expensive rims. The biggest point I would make is to research your TPMS to make sure it is reset able with a magnet only and doesn't require a more special (expensive) tool. Only other item would be to check the dimensions on the off chance your rim limits access to the inflation stem.
