NOT 5000 Lumens. The rechargeable batteries are 5000mAh. LOL, the seller obviously doesn't have a clue and pulled that number off the included batteries. I agree with a couple of others: Observational comparison (to my Surefire, Maglite, and Eagtec) these are about 250 lumens at best. Not at all shabby and a decent little lite, ESPECIALLY for the money. But, definitely NOT police, NOT military, and nowhere near 5000 lumens. I still say worth a purchase, but the lies should be corrected.

Poor quality. Would not suggest to anyone
These are bright. But within 3 weeks all of them have broken. Poor quality. Would not suggest to anyone.

You get more than what you pay for
I got these as backup flashlights for my job as Home Inspector, I was attracted by the two sets of rechargeable batteries and seemingly good lights for the price. Unfortunately the light output is too low to use in a professional capacity, we need very high output to see into the far edges of crawl spaces, attics, etc. However, these are perfectly fine for use at home and walking at night. The flashlights are UltraFire brand. Batteries are 18650 lithium-ion Skywolfeye brand, 5800 mAh with recharging/discharging protection circuit, and high/low limits of 4.2V / 2.75V respectively (that info on the batteries). Chargers are generic, input range 100-240V 50-60Hz 150mAh, output is 4.2V 800mAH. It charged the batteries quickly, show red LED while charging, green when charged. Single press of the tail switch turns the light ON at high mode, single press to turn it OFF which is exactly how I want a flashlight to work. Half-press of the switch (when on) turns to low mode, half-press again for strobe and again for SOS for those who need those functions. So, in summary, these are great lights for a great price - too bad about the overstated lumens. Might buy more as Christmas gifts.

False advertising!
Not 5000 lumens, not at all what I was expecting by the description. Do not buy this light if you want anything brighter than 250 lumens.

Great Deal!
Arrived Nov 19th, Delivery date was Nov 23-30. Installed batteries in chargers(Green-> Red when plugged in-> Green after 5 hours)Put batteries in flashlights and both worked as advertised. First On switch=Steady(bright) quick tap(medium), quick tap (low), Second On= Fast strobe, Third On=Slow strobe(S-O-S).Very bright but not 5000 lumens, Maybe 250. Focus goes from 1x to 2000x, were you can see the led bulb wiring focused at 20 feet.I would have given 5 stars except the lumens is wrong.

Very far from 5000LM, most likely less than 1000LM.

Solidly made, very bright
Very nicely made, they seem durable and solidly constructed. The batteries are a non-standard size but that's not a big issue. The tight-beam mode produces an interesting square patch of very bright light. The beam-spread is changed by moving the front part of the flashlight in and out (forward/backward) rather than by rotating it. Clicking the on/off switch produces three modes of light: steady on, a fast flashing mode, and a slow flashing (about 1~2 times per second). The listing says not to keep them submerged in water for an extended time, but rain and the occasional drop in a puddle shouldn't be a problem. All in all a pretty good deal for the money (2 flashlights for ~$30).

This product is a fire hazard. The second time ...
This product is a fire hazard. The second time I charged the supplied batteries using the supplied charger, the batteries became red hot, the plastic sheathing on the batteries split, and the plastic case of the charger melted emitting the smell of burning plastic. If I hadn't been in the room and smelled the burning plastic, there likely would have been a fire. For your safety, do not buy this product. It should not be sold by Amazon or anyone else.
