This mat does it job, it stops fire from going on the ground so it makes camping better for us as we don't have to worry.

I love this product, it stops the mess.of the fire. I would however buy the black one next time as the light one.looks dirty now. However it still does the job.

Ideal for using fire pit on decking

This is a terrible product. False advertising, used for an evening under a fire pit around 20cm high and it’s killed the grass anyway. It feels thin and not suitable for the job.Have returned for a refund.

Picture is from no protection (bottom) vs with the blanket (top). Some improvement but my wood burning fire pit which sits about a foot off the ground still scorched the grass.

Used this under new burner on top of decking works great and folds away.Not too big so doesn’t take up loads of space

Despite the fact that a fire blanket is cheaper to buy ' I do love this Matt and use it for kneeling on damp ground or to put underneath my fire pit which has a tendency to cinge grass and anything else it stood on !!!This man is relatively easy to dry out ' and does stop the heat from damaging your lawn ' but if you drag it along concrete with a fire pit on it does get frayed !!!I guess it depends on the use you're giving it ' but a fire blanket is cheaper and would probably do the same job !!!
