AirTurn Manos Universal Tablet and Phone Holder (Mic Stand Not Included)

Excellent. Better than expected

This holder does hold the Ipad Pro 12.9 inch model but just barely. The rubber jaw coverings tended to come off when inserting the Ipad(with a case). It would be a different story if it were just the ipad but no one carries around an iPad with no cover to protect. All in all satisfied with this device.

The Manos holder arrived in a timely fashion as promised. The holder is fairly compact and is a solid build quality. My wife and I have a duo and I wanted a holder that would allow placement between the two of us via a mic stand. It doesn’t come with a mic stand but those are easily available. TheManos holds my iPad with cover securely. My cover isn’t too thick. For my purposes, holding my IPad with backing tracks, itworks well.

Love this tablet holder! I've used it mounted on a single mic stand, and liked it so much I also bought a side-arm mount to use the holder on my boom stand when I play with the band. I had tried another holder that was supposed to fit my iPad Pro without taking the cover off, and it dropped the iPad 3 times in the first 10 minutes of use. The Manos has been sturdy and reliable, no drops, turns easily to change orientation, and it's quick and easy to mount/unmount the iPad WITH the Otterbox cover still on (I do have to take the pencil off but the pencil will magnetically stay on the side of the metal stand so it's still readily accessible). Very happy with this product.

I bought this on a recommendation of a friend who does a ton of reviews for audio magazines and who has used them on the road. (Yes, it works on the huge iPad Pro, which was critical for me). I've found it easy to use and effective. I'm withholding a star because as some folks have noted, this is not a bomber-proof clamp. You do need to exercise care with it, and you should always double-check to make sure that your pad is secure. (There are interchangeable inserts to the clamps to adapt to different thicknesses- if you're using the iPad Pro, you will want to swap out the inserts). That said, it's easy to use, and it's done the job well for me. As long as you don't abuse it and you use awareness and safety-checks when mounting or removing your pad, you'll be pleased with it.

One of the best tablet holders I've tried. Securely holds your tablet on a microphone stand. I have an iPad 12.9. Box came with l-shaped pads to accommodate smaller tablets. I have an iPad 12.9 which needs flat pads. The company is very prompt in response and mailed out the item I need.

Looking for a strong and sturdy ipad 12.9. This was my 2nd try. While the Manos mechanics are good and fully adjustable to various sizes, the device did not support my ipad which was loaded into the Logi touch combo case (keyboard removed while in the holder) and mounted on standard microphone stand. The Manos would not hold the ipad at a 45 degree viewing angle like the product picture. It kept going back (womp womp) to 90 degrees perpendicular to the floor. I had to wedge a piece of cardboard between the ipad and hinge point to hold it in place.

It's a bit odd the way the IPad Pro fits into the holder, but it seems to stay put.

using an IPAD, it does not have a proper inclination control because the screw does not have the strength to block it (in my opinion it is under-dimensioned).
