We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can't show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can't figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it's a long up-hill battle to get the other party's insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it's serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you.Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others:They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.Software updates. We've owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added.Proof in the pudding:We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it's great too.Note: I wasn't paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’ve tested a few dash cams before, but the RedTiger 4K front and rear cam really stands out. The video quality is outstanding — super sharp during the day and surprisingly clear at night. I can easily read license plates even in low light, which gives me a lot of peace of mind.Installation was very simple. The wiring is discreet and the instructions are clear. I really like the parking mode and loop recording — everything works as expected.The app is also a nice bonus. I can view footage on my phone instantly without needing to remove the SD card. It makes reviewing and downloading clips super convenient.If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality dash cam setup with all the features you need — this one is totally worth it.

I've been using the REDTIGER F7NP Dash Cam for a while now, and overall, I'm very impressed with its performance. The 4K front and 1080P rear recording provides crystal-clear video quality, making it easy to read license plates and road signs. The night vision capability is outstanding, capturing clear footage even in low-light conditions. Installation was straightforward, and the included Wi-Fi and GPS features add significant value, allowing for easy video downloads and accurate location tracking.My only suggestion for improvement would be regarding the display settings. I prefer viewing the direction and speed on the screen, but each time restart my vehicle, the display defaults back to showing the front and rear camera views. It would be great if the dash cam could remember the last display mode used, maintaining my preferred setting after a restart.Despite this inconvenience, the REDTIGER FZNP is a reliable and feature-rich dash cam that I would highly recommend to others.I would love if the REDTIGER team could respond to this on if there are any plans for firmware updates to that would include remembering the last display mode each time the module restarts. That one change would make this a 5 start review!
