I have not used them because they have sharp inner edges and my delicate scarves catch on them and were pulled. I wonder why the manufacturer does not check them for quality. I am angry about this. I will see if I can find someone to sand paper them or maybe I can try coating them with a coat of clear nail polish or something. If this works, then they can be usable.Update Oct 2021. Today I decided to do something about the gold one which was snagging at my scarves. I found the rough area and coated it with transparent nail polish. It worked!!! Perfect. Now I am happy. I will do the other one too.These scarf clips/pins are lovely and I am now happy with the purchase.
