SnomA210 USB WiFi Dongle

Initially I was a bit disappointed with this product, it would not work with the SNOM D3xx series of phones, however after some considerable research I discovered that the phone's v8 firmware did not support the Wi-Fi dongle, but all the menu options and the were there, as well as the manual documentation, giving you the impression that it did - very confusing!Anyway, if you upgrade your phones to v10.33 of February 2019 (a simple process from the phone's web interface) it all works just perfectly!SNOM phones appear to be quite basic and expensive at first sight, but the software tools and interface is very advanced, but the real reason to buy these phones is their underlying quality construction and durability for high usage applications like a busy office or a Contact Centre. I worked on a project for a major mobile network and we deployed thousands of these phones, so I speak from experience.The Wi-Fi dongle (and VPN feature) makes these phones ideal for areas where the wired network does not reach.Conclusion - I'm now ordering some more of these dongles!

Ich habe den WLAN Dongle für zwei Snom Telefone D7xx gekauft. Es scheint alles problemlos und intuitiv zu funktionieren, findet aber nicht ein einziges WLAN. Einer der Dongle ist daraufhin auch zurück gegangen... eine Anleitung findet sich bei dem Artikel nicht.Als es mit der zweiten Kombi auch nicht ging hab ich dann angefangen zu recherchieren... offensichtlich muss man aktuelle SNOM Geräte erst mal aktualisieren, damit sie mit dem Dongle arbeiten können... Danach war's wirklich kein Problem mehr... ein Hinweis beim Dongle, dass man zuerst das Telefon aktualisieren soll, wäre echt hilfreich.

Ich habe mein SNOM D385 mit dem WLAN dongle ausgerüstet.Wir haben ein WLAN mesh (AVM FritzBox 7590 mit 4x AVM FritzRepeater) im Büro.Das SNOM ist nicht in der Lage, eine WLAN-Verbindung mehr als 5min aufrecht zu erhalten.Danach geht das SNOM zuverlässig auf "nicht verbunden", obwohl noch ein WLAN-Signal angezeigt wird.Anschließend ist eine Neuanmeldung inklusive WLAN-Passwort erforderlich.Die einem dann wieder 5min bringt, bevor sich das Telefon erneut abmeldet.Die software auf dem Telefon ist aktuell, und keines der anderen Geräte im Büro hat vergleichbare Probleme.Ich bin wieder zurück auf RJ45-Kabel. Und ich bin froh, wenn ich den dongle wieder los werde.Das Produkt ist ABSOLUT NICHT zu empfehlen.

Telefonieren über WLAN war nicht möglich, da die Verbindung zu schlecht war. Selbst direkt neben dem Modem keine Chance ein vernünftiges Gespräch zu führen.
