Purchase this to use on one of my laying hens that was attacked by a raccoon. The raccoon pretty much scalped her leaving a horrific head wound. Ordered this immediately and it came the next day. It is a spray which made it very easy to apply. Used it for about 8 days and healing started immediately. At the end of 8 days there was a firm scab covering the wound (which was most of her head). No infection, do drainage of any sort. On the ninth day started applying a cream (Hen Healer -- carried by Amazon) to keep the scab softened. A few days later the scab began to become smaller, new skin and feathers began growing. I highly recommend the Manna Pro Theracyn Wound & Skin Care Poultry. (Along with the Hen Healer these two products are now part of my first aid kit for my flock.

This stuff is incredible ! My khaki Campbell duck was in the early stages of bumble foot and the closest avian vet is over and hour away. Pair this with the fact that she hates to be away from my drake for more than a couple seconds so driving her an hour away with or without him and then having them separated during the operation and possible while recovering if it got bad was not an option. Plus she is my daughter so I did not want her to go through any pain or have any foot problems that an operation could bring. So I sprung into action and purchased this right away. I did some research and found that soaking her foot twice a day in Epsom salts for 10-20 mins and then spraying this, wrapping her foot in gauze, then a non stick bandage saved her foot. She was better in days and I would share before and after if Amazon’s photo policies weren’t invasive seeming. In other wordsBut this it could save your duck or chicken from pain and also prevent any problems with walking.

I had tried so many other things to treat my ducks bumble foot infection. I bought this based on the other reviews and it worked wonders. The bumble foot cleared up. It will take about a month but put this on daily to the affected area and it will work.

I researched products to help treat my Indian Runner duck's Bumble foot and discovered this product. The area where I live there are no farm vets so I am having to learn about how to treat my ducks ailments. I used it on his foot and covered it with a bandage which I changed daily and reapplied the medication. Eventually his foot healed and he was able to run about once again without pain.

We used with the chicken and is wonderful.

Super price for this stuff. I use it for all my livestock not just chickens, as it is similar to that other hypochlorous spray in the bluish bottle (not sure I can mention a brand name) and it is a fraction of the price. Non-irritating and works well to heal wounds.

If you have a farm you know how well this stuff works. Chickens with bumblefoot, ducks with dog bites, donkeys with other donkey bites, cats with other cat bites, pigs with escape wounds... this stuff treats them all, prevents infection and greatly hastens healing. Great price here on Amazon. Get it before you need it!

My hen had large wounds on her back from an animal attack, I wasn't sure she would survive. I secluded her and got this. I was surprised how fast it scabbed over and fell off after using this. She had also been missing feathers already and they're now all growing back too :) She was pretty sick for a while but is now energetic and eating/drinking again
