Accurately fit Toyota Corolla
I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla that the old antenna had enough. I bought this to replace as well as hope it would fix my radio issue with reception. I don’t think it fixed that issue, but I don’t think that’s entirely on the antenna. The Corolla still has the factory radio and if heard and read that eventually the radios tend to develop issues. So is it the radio or the antenna, I believe more so the radio. The only reason when I marked it down one start was the ease of installing. Was it hard or complicated? No, but I had to select the right fitting, which is sent with the product, to assist with the install.

I’m glad I avoided an expensive original Toyota part.
I was amazed at how simple this was to install. I had no idea it screwed in. My biggest fear was having to lower the inner ceiling panel. None of that was required. A set of threaded adapters comes with the antenna. The one I needed was among the set.

The attachments are in the box!
I was ready to return this as the item did not have a screw attached as portrayed in the photo. Then I finally shook the box and the attachments were well hidden inside. It would have been helpful to have known this ahead of time! It works just fine now.

Music to my ears.
A close encounter with a snowbrush and a foot of snow took out my OEM antenna. RIP, it did the job admirably for years.A few clicks on Amazon, and a replacement arrived at my door. It had multiple connectors as options and installed easily.And... Bring on the tunes. :)

Shorter is not better (that's what she said)--bad reception
All the rubber at the base of the stock antenna of my Matrix cracked and fell off years ago, and then the spring base of the antenna was damaged when I washed the car. I installed this little guy for a replacement, and immediately experienced a significant loss of reception. So I reinforced the base of the old one with Gorilla tape, and voila, looks bad, works OK again.
