I am not a camera expert and didn’t buy this TL cam for construction. I bought it for a trip I took to Antarctica and it did not disappoint!!I bought the construction mount/clamp and fastened it to my balcony railing and mounted it for the entire trip.Drake Passage was pretty rough going down and back and the camera did great!! It was so secure I didn’t even worry about it when the rough seas were hitting the balcony glass.I shared pics of how I mounted it as well as one of my Timelapse videos. I’m so glad I bought this camera. The quality was great and it was easy to use.The temperatures were 15°-30° with windchills well below zero. The cam and mount withstood rain, sleet, snow and the southern ocean hitting it.For 12 days of recording I used 8 AA batteries. I took a lot more thinking the cold and 24/7 recording would run them down but they lasted much longer.Awesome little TL camera. Highly recommend.

2 commandes livrées, matériel défectueux à chaque fois, ne démarre pas. J'ai du changer de fournisseur pour recevoir un matériel fonctionnel et commencer mon travail juste à temps. J'avais un besoin rapide pour un suivi de chantier, je l'ai installée en dernière minute dans le stress et sans aucune préparation...Point positif, le service client Amazon qui à effectué un excellent suivi et effectué les remboursements, un peu long mais au final c'est bon. Le plus angoissant : 1100€ dans la nature pendant presque 15jrs.

It looks like this company spends all of their time and money on marketing and packaging and very little time on product development. I bought this camera because I was in a hurry and figured something more expensive would be better. What a mistake. Right out of the box I had trouble turning it on, and only after multiple attempts would it stay on. There’s a firmware update so I tried that hoping that it would fix any problems and it didn’t. If I can get it to stay on it randomly shuts off and leaves me with as little as a few minutes of video in a day. If you’re buying it to run for 99 days well good luck, with alkaline batteries you’re lucky to get a couple of days and that’s not recording 24 hours a day. The clamp is functional and I have not tried the housing and probably didn’t need to buy those additional items that come in this kit. This camera can be purchased separately for half of the price of the kit. You can find more reviews about this camera if you search on TLC 2000 which is the camera portion of this package.
