I installed it in our 2012 Chevy Captiva Sport. Installation went exactly as described in the included pamphlet. The pictures shown on the pamphlet aren't very helpful, but the text is. Curt's website has a great video showing every step of the installation process. This helped me plan ahead and know what to expect.It was a lot of work, but very straightforward. It probably took me about 2 hours to complete on my own. The most time was spent routing the positive line under the car, being sure to keep it away from moving/hot parts, just as the instructions are clear to advise. I just followed along with existing lines and holes in the frame, and secured it with zip-ties as I went along (I used more than what's included in the kit).Once I had everything connected, I tested it out with my probe and got blinking lights with the turn signals and steady lights with the tails.We went camping across state, towing our Viking pop up camper behind us. The taillights, brakes, and turn signals worked great the whole trip. Very happy with how well it all works. Would happily buy more Curt products.

I bought this product as a package damage Option for less money, the package was damaged as expected but the product was in good condition And ready for hook up to my car. The reason I gave this product a lower Review is that it is very complicated to attach to the car. I attempted doing it myself but ended up bringing it to a mechanic shop.

I love that the CURT's guys have a video that explains in detail how to install this wiring myself in my Chevy Captiva Sport 2012. I did it on my own in about 1 in a half hours. Now I can tow anything knowing that I will have the required lights by law.

Great product. The only thing I did different was use a hot wire already on the right side of the care in the back under the plastic molding on the passenger side. The kit wanted you to run a wire to the battery. It was made for more than one vehicle I think. But I was very happy with it.
