Q: is this self healing ? and how many mill thick is it ?

As far as self healing, if you see a wrinkle or an air bubble, etc. you can use a heat gun to correct that. I'm not sure on the thickness of the film.

Q: can this go through a car wash?

Yes. It's no different than paint, except that you can peal it off.

Q: Can i use this long-term over a 3m vinyl color wrap? Im wanting to protect the vinyl from minor dings and scratches in a few areas on the side doors.

That's what I wanted to use it for, but it is not perfectly clear. It's kinda cloudy with a matt look. When I pulled it up, it messed up the vinyl underneath and I had to redo that. So now I have about 20 feet of wasted money of this garbage in my garage.
