which isn't really easy to do
Difficult to use. You have to adjust the pressure as you slide down the corn cob, which isn't really easy to do. Still, better than using a knife.

Doesn't work
I'm an idiot. I bought two of these, one for my father who always cuts his corn off the cob, and one for here when he comes to dinner. We used it immediately and it not only didn't work, it almost caused my dad to drop his corn on the floor. Maybe I don't know how to use it, but I thought it was pretty self explanatory, and it just didn't work. Useless product, as far as I'm concerned. I complained to the company and I got no reply. Thank gawd it was cheap and I didn't waste too much money.

OK for the price -
Interesting gizmo, but didn't work so well on smaller ears of corn.

Not as pretty as others but more effective
I actually bought this as a replacement for one I used to have but left with a family member at a barbeque. It works better than some of the others I've tried because if you apply more squeeze then it becomes narrower like the ear of corn. most corn cutters are a certain diameter and can't adjust so as your ear gets narrower you can't cut those kernels off and waste some of the corn or have to go back and use a knife. It's not as pretty as some of the others out there but it is more effective.

Disappointed with performance
Although inexpensive, I expected it would work better than it did. I liked the fact that the opening was adjustable based upon how much you squeeze, however in actual use, the stainless steel cutting hemi-sphere blades did not compress small enough to cut evenly around the diameter of the cob. I'll use a knife instead of this item in the future.

OK, but not the best
We purchased this for our daughter-in-law, but found it was not as helpful as the Kuhn Rikon Corn Zipper. The corn gets a little more mushy with this product...but, again, you get what you pay for.

It works,but you need to be very strong to use it.
The corn Cob Cutter works really good if you are really strong. No instructions came with it. I could not do it, my husband had to use it, because he is much stronger than I am.

Fine for one ear of corn but not large amounts
