We must admit, We are not cat people.We would never harm one, but we don’t want to stroke a cat or have its tail wrapped around our legs either!So no ideas ‘how cats think’ but decided to try out an idea.Purchased these for Neighbours Cat. (We knew she liked them & they were safe for her, as had seen them feed her these frequently in the past, so when they popped up on a promo in early Summer, I bought 3 packets & put my plan into action.)Every evening at dusk she would be in our front garden….. doing her business in the flower beds!I hoped that she would still like these treats & started by breaking one up & throwing it out of the window onto the lawn for her.After a few days she was almost waiting for me to be at the window & i started throwing a full treat to her.Within 2 weeks I had even started throwing them into the flower beds (near to where I knew she had been), she didn’t look impressed with me & must have thought I was a terrible shot!She would walk over to it, sniff & then look at me…. I would re-clip the treat bag & close the window.When she thought I was gone, she would have another sniff & only took the treat a few times.I kept throwing one out for her each night, (not always near where she had toileted, as I needed to keep her interested! Plus not even I can be a bad shot that often!)Before the month was out…. She was no longer using our front garden flower beds as her private bathroom!Yippeee.I guess she just couldn’t risk her nightly treat landing near whatever she had left behind!I don’t throw one out every night now…. But I don’t think we are her personal bathroom anymore! Sometimes if I spot her passing by in the daylight, I open the door & rustle the packet & throw her one.Just because!I left 5* for flavour & freshness, because they must be very tempting to cats, if she was still willing to eat it from her toilet!

My cat loves cat mint, plants, dried, even 'Dreamies' cat nip flavour, so I was expecting her to be very enthusiastic about these treats, however despite eventually eating the four I gave her, she wasn't asking for more. There was definitely a lack of interest, unlike her other aforementioned treats which have her licking her lips.They don't appear to have a particularly strong smell, so they were approached with caution, a quick lick, before actually chewing them. Like us I'm sure cats all have different tastes, so what my cat doesn't like, others seem to love; worth a try.

Cat loved them, will be buying again.
