NOT white!
I bought these socks last year and they were pure white. Now they are selling a cream colored version as white.

Fall down alot
They go up below the knee but they’ll end up around the ankle after you walk around enough. Works well enough as a costume piece

Could be thicker, and they are tight around my small calves, so maybe too tight for others with normal sized calves. Worked for me though.
