Goldwood Sound GW-208/4 OEM 8" Woofer 200 Watts 4ohm Replacement Speaker

Tiene muy buen sonido,con una caja porteada se logra un excelente bajo.

I just pair one of these with an Eminence 820H in my roalnd cube street ex amp and it added soooo much more bass than I had before. I can actually consider using this to play my 5 string bass in a live situation now. One awesome thing about it is the frequency response being so wide so it is definitely a more versatile woofer. Seems like the construction is very strudy, for the price you can't go wrong. Get one for your practice amp while they are still under $30. I hear this do well in bass guitar cabinets in pairs. One was enough for my application.

My trusty Canadian Mirage speakers that I purchased in the mid 80s had been disconnected for several years due to rotted foam around the woofers. Loved the stereo imaging of these when new and had been quoted a 300 dollar price tag for refurbishment. They seemed destined for the dump.These 8 inch woofers from Goldwood Sound have restored my speakers to better than new sound quality. Given this was my first attempt at speaker repair I couldn't be more pleased.

Purchased for an outdoor system pushed by a Sony receiver. Factory woofers that I replaced were poor quality and could not handle the power from the Sony receiver. I thought that these 200 watt Goldwoods could do the job, but I was very disappointed when they stopped making sound. They did fine for couple of months, but that's all I got out of them. The speaker boxes are well taken care of and out of the elements. Reasonable volumes as expected by the pool and they were wired correctly for 4 ohms.Marginal quality

Had to increase the opening in my subwoofer housing for this replacement and it was worth the effort. The sound is deeper and clearer with this replacement unit.
