Bruno MarcMen's Classic Modern Formal Oxfords Lace Up Leather Lined Dress Shoes

Okay, I've read all the reviews prior to ordering. yes, they have an odor, and just leave them OUT of their packaging, for 2 days, odor at least 80% gone. Wear them another 2 days, odor GONE! Now...on to my opinion> they fit exactly right, size 7DM, as I ordered the Snipe toe style. I work in a bank, they never once slipped on carpeting or tiled floor areas. They look sharp in my suits. I say "they" because i ordered 2 pair, Black & DARK Brown. And for the price ($34.99) they are a steal!! ORDER them with confidence.

I have had the shoes for the past 3 months and will attempt to give insight on the product.When they came, the product was well packaged without an intense chemical smell. The color comes as described with a dark brown color. I bought size 11, my normal size and the shoes were not tight. The material was on the stiff side, though expected with most dress shoes. I expected over multiple wears, the shoes would be more comfortable... not true!3 months later, the shoes remain extremely uncomfortable! If you need a cheap pair of shoes for a single event I would recommend them because they are aesthetically pleasing. If you intend on using these shoes more than that I cannot recommend these shoes.

I purchased these shoes mainly because I liked the look of them and I liked the price. I read a couple comments that there was an odor to the shoes. There isn't some odor to these shoes they just flat out STINK!!! It's not a new shoe smell either, it's a very strong glue like smell. I sprayed these things three times with the febreez spray and even sat them outside for a full day and they still stunk. It has now been 5-days and I am finally able to wear them without everybody in the room getting a headache. They are actually sitting on the floor next to my chair as I type this and I can smell them. I still gave these shoes 4-stars because they are very nice looking, are comfortable, and are priced quite well. So, I really like the shoes but just do something about that smell people!

These shoes dupe me every time. Too many times I've been attracted to the price, but have not learned my lesson yet. These shoes are stiff -- I mean stiff. If you're not following me yet, imagine a piece of steel in the back of theshoe. A normal foot cannot fit inside the shoe without flexing the rear ankle support down. Now, I do not have a shoe horn handy, but I sure wish I did (even then, I'm sure I would find it difficult to get these on). They look fine, but they wear very quickly. I've worn these pair 4x and already have deep creases in the "leather" from when you flex the shoe while walking. Do not purchase -- I tried warning you.

I bought these around 18 months ago and the shoes lasted around 1 year. I repurchased in April and have been wearing to and from work around 3-4 days a week. These shoes have fallen apart and have a huge hole in them. They manufacturer must’ve changed how they make these and I will never buy these Bruno Marc shoes again.

Let me start with the positive things about the shoes: It is a great price [I paid around $31 when I bought them] and the shape of the shoe is nice. However, the odor of petroleum or some type of chemical compound of these shoes is very strong. I have had these shoes since December 13, 2018 and now is February 2019 and the smell does not go away. I have tried putting them outside to let the odor disappear but it has not helped. I will wait for the Spring or hot Texas Summer and see if that helps but for now it is embarrassing to wear this shoes at work because people wonder about the smell. I try to use them occasionally but I do not want to throw them away and waste the $31. It is sad because the shoes look nice. I will start saving money to get shoes from a department store and then I will throw them away.

So far great shoe for the price. This is short-term testing only. Fits as expected unlike other shoes/boots I've purchased on Amazon. I'll update in 6 months or so if there is a problem.Technically I'd give a 4-Star due to leather quality being, well, 'less than leather like', but you can't fault a manufacturer offering a shoe in this price range. Leather is expensive. Period. If you want good quality, thick leather shoes, expect to pay for them. I'll be using normal leather shoe polish to keep them scuff-free and hopefully last a few years. We'll see. Until then, if I get a year of office use from them, they'd still be 5-star shoes for the price. If, however, they fall apart after the first rain (especially if protected with shoe polish) I'll be bac to down grade a few stars.

So I thought that the shoes were going to be cheaply made and uncomfortable because the price was so low. Man was I wrong. Whenever I buy shoes they usually need an insert to make them comfortable. These shoes fit perfect and they were really comfortable. They look like a hundred dollar pair of shoes which means they look great. I will definitely purchase these shoes again, and would recommend them to others all day long. Thanks Amazon. By the way I hardly ever do ratings.

I should have knew the quality wouldn't be great because of the price and I wasn't disappointed how cheap the shoes looked and felt to wear. Wore them once and once will do me. Better to pay 3 times the price and go for a known brand that looks good and feels great.

Very comfortable and excellent looking ball/dress shoes. Ideal for those tuxedo events and brilliant value for money

Its OK but never same as the same size you get from your local store like matalan Debenhams or any other Shoe's store.

Looks really nice indeed and appear to be high quality, but a bit tight on the width and a larger size would have been far too long.

Comfortable on first wearing (rare for smart shoes) and well made. Particularly like the sole grip which allows your foot to slide back but not skid forward, nice design touch.
