This is my second paint by number attempt. I’m normally just an acrylic and watercolor practicer but I decided to do this cuz it’s easy to do in a cabin on vacation. I really learned a LOT about color and had a blast. I totally love the results!!! It’s relaxing, finishable, and rewarding to say the least. I’ve ordered more paint by numbers of master works, and I’d love to see more. Wish this brand would send them rolled up instead of folded. I ironed it and the creases never totally went away. Now that it’s finished it seems smoother. I just used painters’ tape to adhere it as stretched as possible on foam core board. It is also really helpful to add a few drops of water to each little paint pot and stir them. The paint goes on smoothly the first time. Unlike the first kit I ordered, these colors were almost an exact match to the photo. Oh! And the numbered diagram was extremely helpful because if I got lost or wanted to make sure I found all of the 16’s for example, I outlined each 16 on the diagram. Saved a lot of time and confusion.

This is one of the more time consuming and intricate paintings I've encountered. The number of different areas to be filled in is daunting at first but a welcome challenge. The paints were all okay - none were dried up. Interestingly when first applied the colours looked off but as they dried the true tone started to show through.The brushes supplied were not up to the task of this painting as some of the spots were very very small and intricately shaped. Luckily this is a Monet and going over the lines is not very noticeable but a good set of brushes will make things a lot easier and less frustrating.Because this one is so demanding from the sheer number of cells there is a greater sense of satisfaction once complete.

This one was tough just because of the size of the numbers… I painted over a lot of them because I just couldn’t as detailed as it required. But it still turned out pretty, and the paint was good quality. Easy to cover mistakes than you’re bound to make.

I think the concept is great. However, there were no instructions. So many little bitty tubes… not at all as pictured in paint pots… a set of numbered stickers with no info on which paint tube matches the numbers on the canvas.

The paints are in tubes. I was expecting paints in the mini cups as shown in the description. This was disappointing since I avoided ordering a kit that specified tubes. You have to match the number on the tube to a chart to get the right number for your picture. A plastic palette was included to squeeze the paint onto as needed. It's so much easier to paint from a mini cup for me. So, I washed out paint cups from a previous kit and had to squeeze out and number the paints myself. The pictures of the paints included are very misleading and should be corrected!
