Clean-X® Marble & Granite Cleaner & Protectant

I've lived in apartments with granite counters for about 10 years. Now, I live in one with an additional kitchen island.There are two reasons why I really love this product.First of all, it's the only all-in-one product I've tried that protects my counters, which need to be resealed. I've read on several web sites that granite needs annual resealing, but I've never had anybody come out and do it. I've been told by contractors never to use any retail sealants, & I can tell it's getting more porous, which presents problems.This product does a great job of protecting my counters, provided I'm prompt to clean up. Normally, with countertops that need sealing, even if I was quick to clean up, it was too easy to stain. Even a glass of water would leave a mark & take a few days to dry out.Second, It didn't take long for me to learn that (until now), there really isn't any such thing as a "granite cleaner and polish". No product did either very well. I'm sorry I don't recall the names of the brands I tried, but anyway...Except for a weekly wash & rinse, this is the only product I use on the the granite & it cleans very well. I use it with a soft microfiber cloth & It leaves the granite feeling smoother & more slick than anything I've ever used. The shine is also great. And, it never leaves the granite looking dark after use (yes, I tested it!).The thing that makes it so nice to use is that, after cleaning with it, it looks & feels exactly the same as the rest of the polished counter. When I used cream polish, after cleaning part of the counter, I'd have to then polish the cleaned spot in order for it to match the look & feel of the rest of the counter. That never got done, so the counters were never completely clean & polished after use.So, to summarize, my counters, which are years overdue to be sealed, are evenly cleaned & polished at any given moment, with very little effort. I love that my counters behave more like sealed granite than before, I love the bright shine & slick, dry feel, & it's priced very well for all the work it's saving me.

Purchased the product as as a cleaner for Silestone, a cultured stone product. It seems to clean okay but leaves a streaked and blotchy appearance to the counter.
