I will eat apples this year !
We use this flash tape at our farm. I recently (2 years ago) planted 38 fruit trees, apples, pears, nectarines, jujube, you name it. The first year everything gone , I mean everything, even the leaves on the trees. I had many issues- birds, squirrels, rabbits, gophers. (See pictures of my sad trees). My solution was multi fold I electrified the area with temporary fencing, rabbits and squirrels gone. I caged the bottoms of existing trees and caged the roots on new plantings - gophers gone. I added the flash tape to all trees - birds now stay away- I think I will have fruit to eat this year. trees are looking good and so heavy with fruit that the branches are sagging. Now I need support to keep the fruit up. I will post pictured of the trees now as of 5/2019 with the flash tape on them for you to see. Have to take the pics on my next trip to the farm.

It works but I like other scare tape better.
The sun fades this product faster than the Holographic scare tapes. It' s cheap, but won't last multiple seasons. One good thing about this product is it is so light that the faintest of winds makes it rustle. If you are looking for a lot of bird scare tape for a little bit of money, that works this fits the billI don't think it has as much flash as other brands, but it has more rustling noise.I like a lot of flash. But until we can read a birds mind, who knows what scares them more. I have used various scare tapes for years and have proven they work to protect my cherries. But it can' t work if you don't get it put up. use long lengths on the perimeter of the tree, low to high. I have found fastening scare tape with a cheap weather proof electrical tape is the cheapest fastest and easiest way to go. place on exterior twigs and at the end of the season cut it off with a pair of sissiors and store, but this product is very sun faded, still makes rustling noise, ask the birds if it still works.

Great and practical product
This stuff works! First Time ever using it. Birds stay away from my blackberry bushes. Normally all of the berries are damaged by now. The only negative is that it has scared my hummingbirds away for now. I punched a hole in each strip I cut and used a paper clip to hang them. So easy to install!

Works with woodpeckers and turkeys
Easy to use and install. The woodpeckers stay away. I hand the streamers from tree branches and the turkeys won’t come in my yard. Definitely a deterrent.

Buyers Beware of this product! UPDATE: 3/27/18 replacement product very functional.
The red and silver colors disappeared within about 10 days leaving a clear plastic tape with no color at all. Other tapes from another source lasted from 1-2 years. I would not purchase this tape again. Unfortunately I bought 6 rolls and the remaining 5 rolls will have to be discarded. Buyers beware.UPDATE: The source for this tape has identified the problem and has replaced the tape I brought with a high quality tape that has withstood the elements for the last 6 months. I commend them for identifying the problem and taking corrective action. The original 1 star rating is now changed to 4 star.

Saved Cherries 🍒 from Birds
Home grown Cherries a bakers favorite also loved by wild bird This reflective tape worked perfectly & much easier than previously used netting which was getting too difficult to reach over tree and hard to pick cherries! Very few cherries lost to birds with the tape ! Very Happy!

It's keeping the Bluejays out of my blueberries!
I thought I 'd give this tape a try after losing so many of my blueberries to the birds with just netting covering my bushes. There are still some brave birds that have success, but my harvest has been many times greater, using this tape. I'll continue to use it.
