I have always hoped to have a Claddagh ring. As I have much Irish in my DNA. Family heritage is pretty much all Irish. While my husband has created a beautiful wedding set for me over the years, adding on to my original set with different pieces for different anniversaries, I still always wanted the traditional Claddagh. The beauty of a Claddagh, for those who don't understand it is this. It can be given between deep friends as a sign of loyalty and friendship. It can be worn as a sign that a man or woman is available, by pointing the pointed end of the heart outward toward the fingers or it can be an engagement/wedding ring, then worn with the pointed part of the heart pointed inward toward the hand and heart. Loyalty, Love, friendship. A beautiful ring with beautiful symbolism. This particular one is well made and I went with the green, not as a birth stone but, rather, as a symbol of my heritage.

My wife and I had our "big talk" 40 years ago on St. Patrick's Day and a special anniversary day for us. We both have Irish DNA and the ring being made in Ireland, the inscription inside the band, the symbolism of the hands, heart, and crown plus the Irish have used this as wedding rings for centuries made it a perfect gift. She loved it. Put it on and has not taken it off after two weeks. The stone sparkles. Daughter and girlfriends have all approved and think I am a real romantic! There are many other Claddagh rings on Amazon for less money, made in China, no inscription etc and OK for an occasional gift I guess but this one is "the real deal" and came in a nice box with insert and up close, it is well made. It was a hit at my house!

This ring is beautiful looking have gotten a lot of compliments from others about the style of this ring its not awkward or to big perfect size and fits good .my boyfriend loves this ring. I purchased this ring for him his older one got to big and my ring I lost the stone. so this ring along with my stone was ordered as a set .it says its sterling silver and it does look it but time will tell if its pure my other half his finger turns green if something isn't pure sterling silver. so far he has had it on a few days and he hasn't seen anything going on so it must be pure sterling silver the price was not bad either for the quality of this ring .very happy so far with purchase.

This is one of the most beautiful rings I currently own. I purchased the green stone because of being from Irish descendants. I wear my ring as a wedding band due to my actual wedding rings not fitting anymore and being to big. This Claddagh ring is a definite winner.

It’s actually made in Ireland and gorgeous. The only thing I don’t like is that the emerald isn’t genuine.
