Women's Salv Chelsea Boots

Right out of the box and onto my feet. So well made and comfortable. Wear an 8.5 and these are a 39. The fit is good and they look great on too. Comes in a beautiful box. Very happy with this purchase. I’ve been looking for Chelsea type boots and these are so comfortable with no pinching and nice arch support. Got them for everyday and for traveling.

I'm writing this review to let people know that this is a great little boot. I sent it back because it runs big. I ordered another pair of Fly London several days later that is similar in style. I ultimately went with the other boot because they fit better. This boot is amazing though. The leather is soft and it felt good on my foot. I thought about keeping both but alas I am on a budget and had to make a decision.

I have wanted a pair of Fly boots for many years but the styles in the US where I live are limited. I searched on Amazon loved the style and the price was right. The shipment arrived a day earlier than expected from the UK and the packaging was excellent. I love these boots and especially the color & style which is different but still easy to wear.I ordered a UK 5 (I vary between a 4 & 5 based on the brand) and these are very big.....at least 1 size too big! I am a definite 4.5 (UK) in Clarks as I recently purchased 2 pairs of boots/booties and they fit perfectly. My reasoning for ordering a 5 was that I like to wear thicker socks with a boot, I like room in the toe box & this is my first pair of Fly boots so I was not 100% on the fit. I do feel these might be sized incorrectly as even a 4 would be roomy. There is very limited labeling/sizing on the boots with just a serial # with 38 (5) stamped inside the boot, so it could have been a mistake?? However, I decided not to return them as I did not want want to wait for a new delivery and also there were limited items remaining so I didn't want to miss out on these beautiful boots. So, I placed a gel insole underneath the Fly insole (which is quite thin anyway) and with thick socks they fit. So I have extra cushioning and they do not look big on my frame.....I tend to like chunky boots and shoes anyway. I now have extra cushioning and expect to be wearing these for many years. I also like the fact that these are made in Portugal. I would buy again but be a little more cautious on the sizing. If this was not an International purchase and I could have returned them in the US I would have done. That's my honest review, I hope it helps someone else or maybe the seller.

Really like these. My only complaint is they are a little hard to the touch. I’m trying to soften it on the side where it hurts my little toe joint. But definitely not returning them.

Let me preface this review by saying that I hate wearing proper shoes. Luckily, I can get away with wearing ergonomic sandals 90% of the time. However, I’m gearing up for a trip that will require actual footwear. So I’ve been on the hunt for “real” shoes that can handle lots of walking.I wear a size 11 or 11.5 women’s. Most independent charts show this as size 43 EU. And I am definitely comfortable in size 43–it’s usually perfect. However, a lot of European shoe companies equate an 11 and 11.5 to 42. Fly London is one of them. Unsurprisingly, I find most of their close-toed shoes in 42 (which is usually the largest size they offer) overly constricting. But not these. The size 42 fits me really well. Also, the front half of my foot is medium bordering on wide. While the shoes are a tiny bit tighter in some places than I would prefer (bearing in mind that I hate any reminder at all that I am wearing shoes), they are definitely tolerable out of the box, and I can tell that they will stretch as needed in no time at all.Because of issues with my Achilles‘ tendons, my shoes require some heel height. I think this has enough heel to accommodate that problem. And the soles and insoles felt really comfortable to me out of the box, but I went ahead and replaced the insoles with my custom Superfeet, and the beds feel perfect.Bottom line, this is not the shoe for narrow feet, but if you have medium-wide feet and hate wearing shoes (like me), give these a shot. You might be pleasantly surprised. That being said, you may want to order a half-size (or 1 EU size) down.

I had originally set out to get a pair of Blundstones having been told they were comfortable and workhorses by friends that swore by them but in reading some of the unfavorable reviews and then really looking at the few styles they had, I just couldn’t justify paying that much for a boot I was not completely in love with.So onward with the research and here pops up the Fly London Salv boots. I’ve always liked the look of their wedge sandals, kind of retro-y and different than other sandals out there. What caught my eye with these boots was the signature wedge and the fact that it came in so many different colors! Plus, here on Amazon the price was half the cost of the Blundstones!I normally wear size 6 1/2 US and 37 in European sizes. I got the 37 in red. I am soooo happy I got them!They do run a tad on the loose side which is good for me because I have bunions on both feet. When I wore them with thinner socks though my feet moved around a bit and squeaked! Lol. I wear them now with thicker socks and they’re perfect! So comfortable, I wore them all day and never felt like I had to kick them off.The other thing is the color is so great too. I like pops of color and the red is just right. Not too bright to look fake and plastic and not so dark that they look burgundy or wine.I highly recommend them! Stylish and comfortable for a great price! I am considering another pair in a different color I love them so much!

These are comfy boots, but impossible to keep from scuffing, and the green leather immediately looked worn and old, but not in a great way. Haven’t received too many compliments, either.

I ordered 2 pairs of Fly Chelsea Boots (Black & Brown) for my upcoming trip to the UK this September. I wanted qaulity and comfort, and these boots deliver both. They are easy to slip on and off, attractive leather boots. I have long narrow feet (true size 8), and I find them a bit loose. I will comphensate by adding insoles and/or wearing thicker socks. If you order from Canada you likely will have to pay duty at the door or your local post office. It added an additional $50.00 to the overall cost, but overall I am pleased with my order.
