Eta softer than expected to be. On the thinner side but it's plush and doesn't feel that thin when you're on it. Color is great but design shows base white of rug when moved in other directions (but not enough to not see the picture). All of my kid's cars' wheels still turn on the material which is awesome. Rug has non slip grip on underside. Tag on rug says hand wash only and line dry so not sure why the listing says it cna be thrown in the wash. Not a deal breaker for us. Great rug for the cost!

My two sons are OBSESSED with cars- like they have more hot wheels than you’ve ever seen, so a car road carpet is a given in their bedroom. We have had so many in the past- the hard woven melissa and doug kind etc. they have an icky smell and are ugly in my opinion- plus everytime i wash them they fall apart. Enter this one- completely different- it is super duper soft just like you want a bedroom rug to be. And I love the light colors as these type of rugs are always in primary colors and again- ugly. This is a really unique, thick, plush rug that i highly recommend for any car enthusiast. My boys love it and its attractive which makes me so happy I found it-

I ordered this rug for my one year old to play with his cars on. When I opened the package I thought they had sent me a blanket instead! It is the softest rug I have ever seen! The back of it is anti-slip and seems well made to last for a while. The rug is thick and soft and the first thing my son did was lie down on it and snuggle it! He enjoys pushing his toy cars along the roads and I expect that eventually he'll incorporate the beach area, market, school, gas station and other places in his play, too. I am so pleased with this rug and highly recommend it.

This rug feels like a blanket but my issue is the color is totally messed up. I thought after unfolding it would be fine but nope...over half of the rug color is missing and it’s just white ..it looks like it’s been used several times before

Got this rug to help my toddler with imaginative play and thought the colors looked softer than most car play rugs. The rug is very soft. The material is the same as a what is used for bathroom rugs - so I imagine it will be the same cleaning process as cleaning a bath mat. The only negative is the way the images are printed onto the rug does not seem like it will be durable - stand up to multiple washes. Like the image is just printed on the surface vs colored yarn if that makes sense. If you are looking for a soft rug for a nursery or playroom I don't think you will be disappointed - if you are looking for a car playmat I think the Melissa and Doug ones are more durable.
