There are so many ways to put something together - with the gears and all the pieces. It's nice that a toy that is so engaging does not need batteries!

The package arrived earlier than expected. It was a great birthday gift so didn't open the gift box. But have seen this toy before and it is a great sturdy learning toy. The kids can build and see the wheels turn. My grandson loves wheels so this should be great for him.

There is one motor with the set. It can be used to drive the gears, or be inserted into the drill, but is operated by a switch on the top rather than a trigger on the drill. When mounted to the base the motor does not stay put and will either push away or up from the gear it's driving, requiring to be adjusted frequently or be held in place. There is also a limitation of how many gears it can turn before the motor just stops (even with fresh batteries).

Very nice little robot. I will give it as a gift to my 5 year old. I tested it and everything is fine. It will be very fun for my child. It is well packaged and easy to use. A perfect gift.

The product had too many small pieces to be used by children from ages three to five. Having a small child manipulate a screwdriver to turn a screw which fastens a gear to the platform is a bit much. Much, much prefer the traditional snap-together approach in order to make various contraptions. Add to this unnecessary complexity a subpar fit and finish, and you have a bad buy. I wasted my money, so, take heed, and don’t waste yours! A far superior option are any of the Gears, Gears, Gears! sets.

No instructions or parts list. I'm not sure if it's missing parts or defective. The gears do not work with the tower to build up is impossible.
