Well worth the money
Ordered (from China) at 11pm on 8th November and email told me it had been dispatched at 4 am on 9th November. Predicted delivery date was 19 th Nov and they missed by 24 hrs. (arrived lunchtime today).A little concerned that there was no paperwork at all in the jiffy bag, nor any instructions and the tubes were just presented in a plain white cardboard box.Inside the tubes were labelled ft1 (for four thirds presumably) and it was fairly clear how they worked - locking buttons etc worked and I worked them a few times into each other as they did seem to be a very tight (accurate !) fit. I thought this would save any problems when fitted to my EPM2. I then dusted them off and blew them clean with my lens brush/blower to avoid anything getting onto the sensor (after me working the two rings together earlier).I have been confused by some extension tube ads saying you can't use a tube length shorter than the focal length of the lens you are using - I've always understood that as a rule of thumb you divide the focal length of the lens into the tube length and you get the magnification. So I stuck the 10 and 16 together to get 26 mm of tube and hoped to get a 1:1 image (on the sensor ) with my standard Olympus lens set to 26 mm. Doing measurements on the full image that is exactly what happened. However, I then experimented and managed to get images of 2/3 size with the lens set to 36 mm and was pleased to be able to still focus with the 26 mm of tube attached and the lens set at 22 mm and then 21 mm. Admittedly the UV filter I keep on the front of the lens for protection was only 1 cm away from the orchid and moss I was photographing. I presume that may be what the other manufacturers may be referring to - perhaps there are lenses where the lens makeup (10 or more elements) has the outside element being recessed inside the end of the lens body so far that it is physically impossible to get close enough.Needless to say the row of contacts worked perfectly and f number and aperture made the appropriate changes automatically -also my method of using autofocus to locate the subject of the photo, followed by a quick switch to manual focus for the final fine tuning of focus, worked without fail.Anyway - I can recommend these extension tubes for a very reasonable cost. I intend to give them a quick brush and blow before and after using them but can see no reason why they shouldn't last for ages.

Brilliant product
As an inexpensive way into the world of macro photography, i cannot fault this product. I currently use the extension tubes with my Olympus EM10 mkii, and the Panasonic 45-150 telephoto and some of the images I have captured are incredibly sharp and saturated, the only problem is the extremely shallow depth of field, the best way around this is to use a higher f.stop for moving subjects or focus stacking for still subjects. Auto focusing is OK but I have found moving the camera or adjusting the focal length of the lens is better than using either the manual focus ring or the auto focus. Finally, make sure focus peaking and depth of field previews are turned on so you know exactly what is in focus.

Both tubes are of reasonable quality. Both work individually ...
Both tubes are of reasonable quality. Both work individually with the Oly 60 macro on EM1, but not stacked. Black screen is not uncommon due to contact issues I suspect, but for the price and with absence of Oly branded tubes these will do the job for now.

Works very well.
While the item took much longer than expected to arrive, it works just as advertised. Auto exposure and auto focus are maintained (although I suggest using manual focus as the range is so tiny) and the tubes are extremely light weight (due to plastic construction and metal only on the mount). The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star rating is that the tubes are "sticky" when they mount to the camera - the fit is almost too tight. This does get better with use though. With my Olympus 60mm macro, I can get something like 1.3 times life size. With the 75mm, you have a great bug combo.Highly recommended for the price.

takes getting used to but great value for money
Great value for money, really tight fit on my lumix G5. It does take a little getting used to. I used it with my kit 14-42 lens, you have to use it at full zoom or it can't focus but it reduces the minimum focusing distance (lens to object) to just a few cm even with just the 10mm extension. This means the reproduction ratio by my calculations goes from about 0.15 to 0.6. I think the larger extension is only needed for longer telephoto lenses. Also note that the focusing range is very narrow. Anything more than about 10cm away and I just can't focus on it.

Seeing as I didn't have a macro lens and didn't have the means to justify a £350 lens this seemed like a bet worth taking
I bought these recently as I was given a macro and close-up nature photography course as a present. Seeing as I didn't have a macro lens and didn't have the means to justify a £350 lens this seemed like a bet worth taking. I am glad I did! These do not come with instructions - fitting is as easy as swapping a lens but getting the best out of them took me a couple of hours. These are my observations based on the lens I paired with after using them on the course yesterday.Firstly, the performance will depend a lot on what lens you use these with. I paired it up with my OM-D E-M5 and firstly with my M.Zuiko Pro 12-40 lens. With both the adapters on the focal point is virtually inside the lens. I went to the smallest (10mm) adapter and achieved good usable results. (Blue Damselfly)Secondly I paired it with the Olympus 40-150 lens. I didn't achieve much with this lens. Partly because it was really windy so my subjects didn't stay still and secondly I didn't spend that long experimenting. More of this and I might have got good results. (no pictures developed)Lastly, and the sweet spot for me, i paired it with my Olympus 45mm F/1.8 portrait lens. I got great results almost instantly. Normally you can't focus on anything closer than 50cm with that lens but with both tubes on that all changes to about 10cm or less in front of the lens. I just wish I had had longer to play the set up but the course ended too soon! I think I will get good use out of the adapters - I'm hooked!
