Provides an easy upgrade path
Inexpensive way to continue using my Raystorm water block. I moved from a LGA 1366 to LGA 1200. This kit did not come with the necessary screws for the backplate and they were smaller than the ones I was currently using. Thankfully I was able to use the ones from my old Rasa water block.
