The new one I ordered to replace my old Jake head has an issue with the direction the hair comes out of the scalp. The hair sticks out to the side no matter how much I try to pull it down. This is a small issue that only showed up when I trimmed the hair, but is still frustrating. This was not an issue with my old Jake head, but it was getting worn out. This issue is specifically with the back of the head.

product was ordered as one of two mannequins for a state exam. needed long hair and a shave. Jake was perfect for long hair, but the straight razor shave was harder on this head do to his jaw line, but I think there all the same when it comes to shaving on a mannequin. Will do the job.

I purchase several Mannequin Heads to complete a life size Nativity Display. The Mannequin heads gave a more realistic look to the Wise Men in addition to being very steady in their construction, found material easy to work with when changing the color in order to represent one of the Wise Men with a darker tone, I found the material to be very apply able so attaching a beard was easy thus, completing the look. The price found reasonable, a very good item well worth the investment.

If you need to display something that would appear on a head, this works well. The long natural hair can be cut and stiled into whatever seems right for your project. These were used to show off civil war hats in a display, so the hair was trimmed to show the style of the time period (planning to use the trimmed hair to add some facial hair in the future).

It was overall a good mannequin to perform a tapered haircut on.

The head itself is very large, And the ends are very stringy. But i can but it to use for cutting or coloring
