It's a good switch, especially for thin body Squires. Replaced a super-switch that didn't fit well. Note does not come with a wiring diagram so print the one online. Also, bridge PU no tone control wired per diagram, that's a common way to do it.Easy to solder lugs and yes, there are side lugs for a ground wire.Nice positive clicks.

After trying many switches and not being satisfied with them, I decided to give this one a try. Oh boy! This is, in my opinion, the best switch out there. There is ABSOLUTELY no loose parts, no play at all. Even between the pickguard slot and the switch lever, there is NO play. The detents are sharp and precise. And usually, with regular Strat switches, there is a short "scratch" sound when switching positions. This switch has 0 sound when switching positions. The terminals are solid. It feels, to me at least, like the best switch on the market right now. I've installed it in all my three Fender guitars (2 strats, 1 telecaster)

Yeah I'm sold on this for my future builds and repairs. I like being able to change things up and the sturdy box along with the easy access of the solder points makes this a winner in my book. No play between switch settings, it locks in nicely, so it has a great feel IMO.

Most impressive to me is that the two volume pot lugs are already linked by a small conductor. Boy is that convenient. No need to clip, strip and solder my own jumper.Otherwise, normal 5 way switch stuff. Some pickup hot lugs. Some tone pot lugs. Solder em up.Also worth mentioning is that the switches housing is robust. And the arm's joint is solid enough that it needs the appropriate amount of force to switch positions.PCB switches can be good, it turns out.
