This is our second post box as the first one wasn’t a top opener so it was difficult to get larger packets in. This one happily takes larger packets although you have to open both the top and main part to get the item out. Only problem is the top opening opens up and bangs shut with the wind which is pretty noisy even inside the house when it’s windy outside. We have ours located in quite a sheltered spot outside the front door

I can't say much as it looks ok we gettin railing gates made they will go onto that and we will use it n see is it is all it says waterproof strong n that. Got gates on and fantastic for mai.l down point is rain gets inside the box the mail gets wet when it rains I think whre opening is should hav had a flap or something to avoid rain gettin in. Paint work good it got few spaces where screws are on edges so watr gets in from there too.

This is advertised as a rear access mailbox. However there are large design faults which mean it doesn’t work as I would like.Firstly there is a flap on the top of the box that can’t be closed. What this means is that any letters entering the box (From the rear mail slot) come straight out and fall into the floor because the flap opens up.Secondly the box is not very thick. This results in lots of the letters being posted being bent.

Very good quality. It has been fitted inside a wooden door so can not comment on it being weatherproof. Need to be precise when cutting aperture to ensure they match up - depends in depth of letter flap on the door. The depth of the aperture on the box could be bigger to avoid this issue.

Black metal postbox fitted to back of outdoor gate, with key access and rainproof lid. As with previous, similar item the slot on the back was not big enough when lined up with back of the letter box slot. However, the guys who were fitting our new gate were able to cut out a section from the back of the box so it would work with the letterbox. Not something a regular person could do though, as they had their own specialist cutting tools. Happy with overall quality. Have had for a couple of weeks and the hinge has not got bent yet by postman ramming lots of large mail into the box. Could do with a few rubber studs on back and front, as it rattles and makes a bang when opening and closing the gate.
