This adds the functionality of protection and 1/4" screw adapter. This item should ship with this instead of the clumsy tripod mount adapter. Hopefully RIF6 makes this change so you don't need to buy an extra accessory. Minus one star for this point but the product is reasonably priced and worth the money.

Pros: good image and small footprint. Fun little projector. Pretty easy to use. The flexible tripod is great.There is a low motor sound, not loud, but could irritate those sensitive to sounds while trying to listen to something else.Cons: HAVE to use the remote. Sometimes doesn't register the remote clicks right away.

If you have a RIF6 projector, I highly recommend you get this protective case. The projector is so small, it is easy to slip out of your hands. This is really cheap and protects your investment. It is easy to use, just slip in the cube and it will make your heart stay in your chest if the projector happens to fall out of your hands (God forbid).Note, play attention to how you put the projector in as there is a small space allowance for the charger on one end, so there is a RIGHT way and a WRONG way to insert the cube.I hope you found this review helpful. This has saved my cube a few times. Usually when the kids are using it. I've had no issues plugging in cords as other reviewers had. Maybe they have it on wrong.

Case fits perfectly and offers drop protection, as well as protection for your surfaces.

Protects the cubes, but has to be removed for cubes to fit in case.

This does add some protection to the edges of the cube -- mostly in a cushioning sense. I wouldn't trust it for impact protection in any way. It is fairly easy to stretch over the Cube, and that's a good thing, because the big design flaw with this thing is that once the case is on, the Cube will no longer fit into the bracket on the tripod. So I suppose I will be slipping this protector over my Cube just for storage and traveling, and then taking it off to use, because that tripod is kind of an important component when you go to use the projector.
