I bought this to get a bit more capacity than a Yeti 10 oz. lowball tumbler and was disappointed when this supposed 13.5 oz. tumbler held about an ounce less. I understand the desire to differentiate a product from all the competitors but don’t advertise it as something it’s not. I will return this item.Putting that aside, it performs almost as well as a Yeti. I borrow a friend’s Yeti for testing.Cold Test: I weighed 4 oz of ice for each (see picture) and filled them with water from the fridge. After 9 hours in an 80 degree room the temperatures measured Hood = 41.9, Yeti = 41.6.Hot Test: I filled each with boiling water to the lid. After 1 hour, Hood = 167.2, Yeti = 168.3. After 8.5 hours, Hood = 95.5, Yeti = 97.7. I also tested them with boiling water and no lids. After 1 hour, Hood = 113.6, Yeti = 117.7.Overall the quality is good. The Hood is shorter and wider than the Yeti (see picture). It is noticeably lighter. I did like the texture of the powder coating but wish they had left the brand name out of it. The Hood lid doesn’t work on the Yeti and vice versa. Bought this mug as an anniversary gift for my husband expecting him to use it outside in the heat. Turns out, he not only uses it while basking in the summer sun, he uses it at dinner time at home.. in November.. on a Tuesday. It's pretty adorable how much he loves it. I really like the thing too - it truly keeps your drink cool in any climate and has a comfortably sized mouth for drink sipping. It's easy to clean, has a good width for gripping, and the lid fits snugly while being easy to remove at the same time. A lot of thought went into the design of this mug. Oh, best of all, it does not alter the taste of your beer whatsoever.

My coffee stays hot/warm for about 1-2 hours, which is perfect for this size/amount.My bourbon/scotch and chunk of ice stays cold for about 15-20 mins, probably longer but I'll never know.My only "beef," if you will, there's no slant to the cup to aid in holding it, or in placing it in a cupholder. Even though the outside has a coating, the straight sides always make me afraid it's going to slip through my fingers, especially when it has bourbon/scotch in it.

I used my tumbler for a week and it was great. I only used it for hot fluids (tea and coffee). After the first week, it started leaking a bit right at the pour spout of the lid. The fluid would leak out from between the lid and the cup wall (possibly a bad gasket). I contacted the seller and a replacement tumbler was sent out and received within 2 days. The new cup has been working flawlessly. I threw away the old lid and use the old tumbler without the cap. Great product and service.

This cup is fantastic nice and sturdy keeps my coffee warm the only downfall is on the largest setting for a Keurig it just has enough space for a little bit of cream and the lid won't fit on if you do that. Simple solution is to just drink a little bit down and then put the lid on overall this cup is great.

After a 5-week camping trip with lots of windy weather, we determined that "sippy cup" cocktail cups would be useful. Researched several and settled on this one. Received them recently and tried them out -- love them. No leaking and a nice weight to combat windy conditions. I have a relatively small hand, so I wouldn't want them any wider, but I'm able to pick this one up with a single hand. A smaller size would also be welcome. Produce arrive as described and when scheduled. I purchased product for camping and although I have not tried it out camping yet I have used around home and outside home. Ice lasts a long time keeping drink cold but not watered down. Perfect for an afternoon drink. I'm happy I did not pay double the price for well known brand when this serves my needs and actually looks better in my opinion. Would buy again and would recommend for sure.
