AtmosFXNight Before Christmas Digital Decorations DVD for Christmas Holiday Projection Decorating

We like to project this one onto an upstairs window for the neighborhood kids to see Christmas Eve. Some similar products are a little too cartoonish and those don't convey the illusion of a "real" Santa Claus making his rounds. This Father Christmas is perfect! Phenomenal!

For those looking to add a special touch to your home Holiday decor and like spending a little time and effort into decorating, this is a Fantastic effect.Using an inexpensive shower curtain from dollar store, we were able to create a shockingly Great Holiday decor addition that literally surprised everyone that walked in our home.A must have for serious holiday decorators.High quality video and sound. Plays Great on higher end projector. Recommend connecting a quality speaker system to get better sound quality.Highly recommend.

This is merely a sample of different videos you can buy from atmosfx but it is very easy use with your projector.

The idea of Digital Decorations is so great. It would seem to be limited only by imagination! We had earlier purchased an AtmosFX DVD for Halloween and loved it. We thought the Christmas DVD would be good since it would be used for a couple of weeks rather than the couple of hours the Halloween decoration was in play.The DVD arrived and we checked it out. We were planning on using Santa's Visit as projected on the window. The scene is well lit and clear. Although they say it's set-up for vertical presentation, that's not quite how it is. The scene is landscape in orientation, however, "the action" takes place centered in the middle of the view. In our window, the scene uses the lower half of the window (see photo).So, what's our opinion? The scene is fine for what it is. The "Window Presentation" loops in 9:30 minutes before repeating. Other's have noted the glow surrounding Santa, a product of poor green screening. It's one of those things that once you note it - you can't stop seeing it! :)Oh! We are projecting it on a screen that came with the Halloween DVD kit. A fine weave cloth that is excellent for the display. It clearly displays the projection but doesn't show the interior of the room we are using, a nice feature. When we first started the display, we quickly had to lower the projector's level. It was originally set-up at about the same level as the window. What outside viewers saw was the scene with a really big light in the middle from the projector. By dropping the projectors elevation down about a foot, we got it below the visible eyeline level of the window from the outside and viewers saw just the scene and not the lamp.Our projector is a 1200 lumen No-Name LED projector. It is fine once the outside is very dark.If you were in a more well-lit area, a more powerful projector would be called for.We have received compliments from the neighbors and maybe a leg-up on the yearly un-official neighborhood Christmas decoration competition :).

Works great with my projector. Very clear and professional. I bought a thin (two dollar shower curtain) and cut it to fit the front storm door and hung it using two Command hooks attached to the door frame. Well worth the money.

I had to use a video editing program make a couple of the videos (scenes) usable. The rest of the DVD was worthless IMHO. I had to zoom in and crop the santa in the window video to make the santa look more realistic. The santa had to be much larger (seeing him only from the waist up) to make him look much more realistic in a window. The scene with elves putting out the fireplace for santa is funny and somewhat inspired but made no sense at all. So, I edited that as well so that the story made sense. I would recommend this DVD if you are willing and have to time to do some video editing, otherwise I would pass on this as there are other much better christmas window projection videos available in the internet that don't need video editing.

easy to use and setup was easy

I love the scenes in this DVD. My granddaughter and I make up stories for each of the three scenes. We use a projector inside the house to show on the front window. Kids love it! Santa with his gifts, his liste, eating cookies Nd drinking milk. Definitely puts you in the Christmas spirit. I just wish it didn’t cost so much.

Another great product for window displays. Very well done. Worth the money.
