Summary of Quiet: : The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain | Summary & Analysis

As an introvert myself I find this book very informative and helpful, the information were legit and it had many studies to prove its statements. I love how the author accepts introverts and extroverts equally and that this kind of characteristics is never a reason to fail. The book has many information of the human brain and how it works and improves, what really inspired me is that being a introvert is never a hindrance for me to set and achieve my goals. It was also very diverse, referring to other cultures and how they deal with his kind of characteristics. The best feeling for me is knowing more and more about the world, after reading this book I felt amazing and knowledgeable. I recommend this book to everyone especially to those who enjoy learning.

I was not impressed. Few insights and little to justify my time.

Quick read that can be done if one has no time to read the book. The book itself has some grammatical errors/spelling. However, it’s well worth the read with great insights.

But the original was probably boring, too.

Here is the problem: The title and description of this book are not clear at all. It was not obvious that this is a STUDY GUIDE of the book: "Quiet, The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking", not the whole book. The subtitle of the book is so long that the words "Summary & Analysis" were lost, and I just thought it was another edition of the original book. Nor does the description of the book emphasize that this is NOT THE WHOLE BOOK, it is a Study Guide. It simply says that book is divided into four parts, etc etc., nothing up front to indicate that this is an analysis of the book. This complaint is not the fault of the person I bought the book from, because they probably did not write the description. This description needs to be fixed, and the title amended for clarity. I don't know if this Summary & Analysis is any good or not because it is not what I wanted, and I have no need to read it until I read the whole book!
