Works great in combination with the Ultimate Fruit Fly Trap
The Ultimate trap caught 10 fruit flies overnight in apple cider vinegar (we added one drop of dish soap so the flies will drown easier). However, fruit flies tend walk on the rim of the trap instead of entering the trap as mentioned in other reviews. So we added the sticky butterfly trap which is designed for fungus gnats (very similar to fruit flies but common on houseplants) and the combination of the two is awesome. I added a 2nd butterfly as the trap was working so good. Fruit flies still drown in the vinegar but the trap now attracts fruit flies to the sticky butterfly. This combo is way more effective than either trap alone. I will also leave this review on the Ultimate trap we purchased.

Not really useful. Not a trap. Basically just tape.
I thought these were fly traps but flies do not seem to be enticed by these sticky things and isn't that the point of a trap? To lure them? Anyways, it's just a double sided 3m adhesive with a really meaningless bug shape which is very annoying to remove the wax paper over the adhesive - I've had it rip on the adhesive a few times. These things aren't useful for indoor settings. I placed one in my kitchen for a full day and no bugs. It's only useful when you're actively swatting at the flies and it sticks to them, but I could have done that with tape. It has a triangle bit on the bottom to plant in dirt which is ok but I want to use it in my home and I don't happen to have string so I just prop it against things and it's not great. I wish it came with a paper stand to prop it up or maybe some small adhesive at the bottom to stick it on certain surfaces or objects. Right now I am putting apple cider vinegar in a cup and using these traps to catch the flies but so far no luck. This is not a good product.

Surprised how well these worked
Honestly, I had way more than a few bugs flying around my plants. It was getting embarrassing and the population was increasing rapidly. I tried the jar with fruit/vinegar/wine trick but it didn't work for these bugs. I put them in the potted plants and was amazed how many bugs were stuck to them the next day. Some of the bugs (fruit flies?) seem to still be around, but the majority of them seem to be gone now after only a week. Definitely recommend.

THEY WORK!!!!
I was noticing these little flies in my house. Occasionally they would be brave enough to fly right into our face! I saw these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. The price was good and wow do they work! The only thing I dislike is that it says you will get 24 pieces I only got 12. Not worth sending them back since they’re already full of little flies. But I would order them again no question!

These are basically ineffective.
In a two week period, out of 4 of them scattered around my kitchen, which was inhabited by a flock of fruit flies, I only caught 2. I consider them a waste of money. Maybe they will come in handy if I get any tiny flies in my plants. If not, I'll toss them out.

Did trap any insects
Either not sticky enough or didn't attract them. Either way gnats just fly around it unbothered.

Not great for fruit flies
Recently noticed a couple of fruit flies in my kitchen. I pulled all the fruit out of our basket snd found the source, a semi-rotten apple. When I removed it a dozen of those nasty flies took off. After trying to seat them for a couple days it seemed to be getting worse. Thought these were cheap enough, bought them, and put a couple out in the kitchen. Caught one fruit fly in two days. Do yourself a favor and either buy the electric one for $39, or make traps using apple cider vinegar (Google it, they work). These might work a little if there is an infestation, but no good for a “regular outbreak”.

These work but you might need to put some "Bait"
Had a huge fruit fly issue but all gone now! I stuck these in mugs and poured honey inside the mugs as well as apple cider vinegar in some of the other mugs. Turns out the apple cider vinegar worked way better and faster but the honey worked quite well too but only for a few hours. The apple cider vinegar seemed to work for days (but it started to stink in the house lol). I basically had to bait the fruit flies to the mug and then they would get trapped on these yellow stickies very well. It's nice and sticky and also it's a nice color and cute design, affordable too for the number of them you get. I also placed a few in high traffic areas like my fruit bowl without needing bait and they still got caught on these fly traps. But the ones where I used bait actually caught an insane amount of fruit flies compared to the ones without any type of "bait."

They worked!!
Crazy as I had flies in December in Ontario, and didn’t see many near my plants so didn’t think this would work. I checked them often and was amazed at how many were caught on these things! Definitely a must need for house plants!!
