Absorbent, soft, and wonderful.
UPDATE #2, 2022: We've been using these same prefolds all the way through my sons potty training after he turned 2, he is now almost 4, and will be using them again when our newborn arrives in a couple weeks. I am thoroughly impressed with how well these have held up. We used 2 dozen through our sons diaper days, and just bought another dozen to help get through the frequent changes of the newborn stage. These cloth diapers are made to last, and I can't give them enough praise.UPDATE #1: We've been using these for almost a year now and they're still good as new. They never unraveled or got holes, and dont hold on to stains. We've upgraded to pocket diapers and these fit perfectly in them too. At this rate we'll be able to store them after son is potty trained for a future baby. ORIGINAL: We've been using these prefolds for a few months now. We pad fold them and lay them in covers. So far they are working excellent. Our boy is 10 months, and I wouldn't say he's a particularly heavy wetter, but he soaks them pretty well. Absorbency wise they're awesome. I tried to cheat a bit with prepping and boiled them, and went to the laundry mat to dry in between. It didn't work as well as I had hoped, so I still ended up prepping them in the washer a few times. But you have to do that with any prefold, and it was my own fault for trying to take the easy way. They quilted up really nice during the prep, but we don't have or use a dryer, I line dry, and the quilting quickly went away. It doesn't seem to hurt the Absorbency any though, and we can easily go two to three hours in between changes. Sometimes four if the stars align right. And we haven't had a single leak. They're pretty soft, even though I do line dry them. Usually cotton tends to get a bit crunchy, but they're really not that bad at all, and they don't bother my son's sensitive skin. There were some reviewers that said these were too small for their older babies. These are only meant to wrap around newborns or infants, then you have to use them pad folded in a cover or pocket diaper. Honestly, They're diapers. No one should expect them to look pristine after being pooped on every day. I love these prefolds. They're absorbent, soft, and get the job done with no extra hassle. I would definitely recommend them, and would buy more myself when the ones I own now have worn out.

Amazingly soft, best ones we have tried
I had no idea what to look for because I have been out of the diaper game for 7+ years and needed to buy some cloth diapering supplies to try on our new baby. I LOVE these! For reference, I used to use Charlie Banana pocket diapers when my kids were small but I don’t like worrying about washing separate so I went with these cloth diapers and plastic covers. The absorbency does increase after washing several times and drying on warm/hot. and less is more in the terms of detergent: if you use too much to “clean” them they seem to stay dirtier. I am guilty of this, on occasion. Most of all I am pleased with how soft and durable they are: comparing them to Gerber organic cloth diapers (the flats AND the prefolds) these were MUCH softer and kept their shape better after washing. My daughter is happy with the feel, they’re very soft and she doesn’t get a rash with these like she does with disposables, even when not using A&D ointment.I love that I can throw these in the machine with some towels (all cotton) and wash them easily on the same settings, too, because the old microfiber inserts I used had to be washed separately and were a lot harder to get clean.I did buy a second pack of these after I tried the first one, and would definitely buy more in the future if I needed them! (We wash often so two packs is fine for our newborn as of now)Note: we also use these as burp cloths and I have been meaning to cut one up and sew little nipple pads to catch milk in because they’re JUST THAT SOFT!!!

Prefold
update, these are the softest prefold I own, they are absorbent and do just as they are needed. No further issues with washing. These have become my favorite prefolds, I pad fold and use over a cover and it holds my super heavy wetter for 2hrs.They are not as bulky as originally thought, the material is trim compared to other prefold, also seem to be less shrinking in comparison to GMD.Two of these unraveled at the stitch in the first wash, did not completely unravel but I suspect limited longevity at this rate. this is the outcome of the first wash during prepping, maybe some loose stitching? I did let customer service know and they were readily and willing to accommodate and replaced them. I have not yet used. Will update usage and absorbency. They do seem rather bulky.

Super soft and absorbant.
First time mom here with a 2-month old at about 10-11lbs. My DD is exclusively breastfed. I started off using Gerber Birdseye prefolds with a Thirsties cover, which were okay, but it could not contain the blowout poops. Since then, I've decided to buy these prefolds. They are super absorbant, soft against baby's skin, and, because they're unbleached, you can barely see the stains! They're much thicker than the Gerber ones, which means they get quite bulky, but that's just the downside to using cloth diapers in general. They're easy to wash and dry quickly in the dryer, and they get softer with every cycle. I've had two blowouts since buying these, and they have been perfectly contained using a jelly roll fold, a Snappi, and a Thirsties cover. I can also barely tell now that baby has peed since they're so absorbant, unlike with the Gerber ones, which were basically soaked with every pee. I highly recommend these for those who plan on using prefolds.

Bulky but do the trick
I have a 15 month old - she is super active and a heavy wetter. These don't tend to bunch up with a lot of activity and are very absorbent which is awesome, my only complaint is how bulky they are, these pre folds are saturated in an hour. I am constantly changing her so she stays dry and clean, it would be nice if i could layer them or something so she isnt leaking out of her diaper by the end of a nap, but they are too big. I usually use one of these in addition to a thirstys hemp insert and some fleece
