DO NOT BUY!! I just bought these for outdoor decoration and put them out this past weekend. Yesterday, it rained. The red from the bows ran all over the cream colored boxes and now they look HORRIBLE! $40.00 of my money down the drain! WTF?? This doesn't make them outdoor now does it???Update: Received e-mail from Ashley at Christmas Central stating if I would send her pictures of the boxes, she would refund my money. I sent the pictures Dec. 5th and to date (12/19), have not heard a peep from her!!Update: Filed a claim with Amazon and they refunded the entire amount via Amazon gift card.

I bought these because of their looks and price. I was very pleased with their quality and appearance. I wish they were a tad bit larger, however they looked great in front of a 3 snowman blow up decoration I also purchased this year. They are sturdy and what you see is what you get.

I am sooooo pleased. A friend of mine had some similar that I've been loving for years so I finally went on Amazon this year and found a look a like that I just love. Also pleased with the delivery within a couple of days. I wanted for inside under my tree. I can't say how much I love them....I hated to put them away for next year. I wish I could leave them out all year long! Thanks much...

as soon as they got damp the red bow coloring ran over the off white package. Had I known they wouldn't hold up outside, I would not have purchased them.

So far good have not used them yet seen where some red bleed sure hope they don't do that when I use them

I bought this for our front yard Christmas display. As we dislike ubiquitous figures, multi-colour lights, excessive amount of non-related objects, we wanted to add a simple set of lighted gift boxes to our sleighs and reindeers to make a cohesive "tale". Most lighted sets we have seen in stores are flashy, or cheap looking plastic or multi-colour. These looked great in our all white lights dispaly. Boxes are nicely sized and look great as a set. Light bulbs are secured inside and shine through, giving it a nice glow.I wanted to mention that, although they are listed as "outdoor" (at the time when I purchased it, it said outdoor and boxes stated the same), they are not meant to get wet AT ALL. After our sprinklers went off, the red colour from bows bled onto boxes. Hence 4 stars insted 5. I contacted the seller and they gave me full credit to replace them, so i am very happy with the way they handled it. I do feel it should not say it's an outdoor item. These would be great for a covered lanai.

Ironically, this "Yard Art" is not well-designed for use in the yard! As other reviewers have noted, the red from the bows will bleed onto the cream boxes as soon as it gets damp. This first appeared on mine after a little dew, and it looked really horrible after a light rain. The company just now revised their description to state that it should only be used outdoors in a covered area (a weak attempt to warn customers before they purchase a poorly designed product). I should add that I was initially pleased with the look of these boxes, by the way, because they do look nice during the day as well as at night. I wish the colors held up better.I contacted the seller (Christmas Central) twice with no response. It was not until I filed a claim with Amazon that they finally responded and offered me a replacement or refund. I am pleased with Amazon's easy "A-Z Guarantee" process that helped me finally get my money back.

I wish I had read the reviews of these boxes. They are a lovely indoor addition, but note that only the UL is listed for outdoor use, not the actual boxes.Last night, I put them outside for the first time, and when I looked this morning after a light overnight rain, the bows had bled red over each box. As I hurried to get them inside, they dripped fuschia drops all over the sill and carpet.The company should re-write the instructions to state that these are NOT meant for outdoor use.
