Q: Which wax is good for Texas ocean?

Depends on water temp. Water cold, go with cold...water warm, choose warm water wax.

Q: I want to order this but there are so many people complaining about getting the COLD water wax rather than the COOL/COLD. Is this problem remedied?

I think some people still receive COLD water wax (occasionally). I did on my last order. If you absolutely have to use COOL/COLD water wax, I would recommend to choose another seller.

Q: Is “cool/cold” softer wax than “cool”? I don’t know why they have to complicate things with the name changes.

The Cool/Cold wax is designed for waterTemperature Range: 69°F-20°C and below

Q: What does it mean 2 bars. 2 bars of 5 packs or just 2 packs?

I believe what you're getting is a 5 pack. In each pack the wax is molded so that you can break it into two bars. The paper wrapping is the pack. Inside each pack are two bars. Hope this helps.
