Got this for students to use when video recording games; hopefully will hold up to that kind-of use over time. Was hoping to see maybe a bit better head. I am a professional photographer who personally uses Mafrotto tripods so I don't know if I'd go as far to call this a professional tripod, but, for a $45 tripod, if it holds up a year or two to student use, then I would consider it a good buy. It definitely is sturdier than some of the cheap junk they have at the school.

A pretty decent tripod for the price. I got it because I wanted something lightweight. If you want true precision go with a better tripod.

Purchased for an gender announcement photoshoot. Shoot was outside throughout a forest. Tripod is lightweight and has a wide range of height extension. Perfect for outdoor and indoor use. Very happy with the product for the price, and I would definitely suggest this tripod to other recreational users.

I was hesitant to buy this tripod at first because many of the reviews talked it being flimsy and weak and not to use if it is windy. They were all wrong. My experience with this tripod is that it is very sturdy and never even wobbled even under heavy winds in the mountains of Greece. I definitely recommend buying because it is a lot cheaper then a lot of the more expensive tripods and it is just as good as those

The media could not be loaded.  After many years of using a basic tripod, this tripod felt like the Ferrari of Tripods for me. Everything I need in a tripod, this one is it. From easy tilt and rotate, to locking in place to adjustment of height. All the features adjust smoothly. It is a very light weight tripod, only weighing about 2.12 lbs. The rubber bottoms easily can adjust to the surface and angle you are on. Taking the tripod on the go is perfect as it comes with a nice nylon case. Whether you use a camera or tripod mount for a smart phone or tablet to shoot photos or videos, this tripod is perfect. Please see my video so you can get a real feel for the tripod. It's fairly sturdy, and the hook to add weight does help. It does have a quick release as well. I'm happy with it, but I wish it was taller and even sturdier. I like that the feet rotate to the surface to maintain as much solid contact with the floor/ground as possible. As with other tripods, it's difficult to get the camera perfectly level and then tightened into place so it won't move. Overall, it does the job and seems like a quality product.
