I wanted a mouse tray to bring my mouse lower and in front of my keyboard. I was worried that this would feel too flimsy, but so far it's pretty sturdy. We'll see how it holds up after a full week of work.There are only two things I don't like about it. First is that the tightening mechanism is hard to move, since it's between the bracket and the desk surface. Second is that the bottom cap that keeps the platform attached to the bracket is really, really difficult to get on, as another reviewer pointed out. You're supposed to be able to twist it, but I don't think it's moulded properly. I scratched out a little bit of plastic using a hobby knife, but I still needed to grip it with pliers to get enough torque on it. At least I'm pretty confident it's not going to come off!

Edit: seller was extremely courteous and understanding. If you have issues with any product, have a chat, they are super nice to deal with.Surface of my unit isn't flat. Its curved up and down. My Logitech G700 gaming mouse can't stay flat on it. I bought this entry level device to see if that was something that would work for my setup but it isn't good enough...Might work with blue light mice and multisurface mice or maybe my specific mouse tray is defective, I'd like to know.

I am pleasantly surprised by this desk accessory. Since working from home, my set up is not the most ergonomically friendly and before I used to have shoulder pain as my desk is higher than my arm rest, resulting in me having to raise my arm to use my mouse. With the addition of this accessory, it allowed me to lower my arm and hand back to a comfortable position and has resolved my shoulder pain. Surprisingly very sturdy and would recommend in case you can't afford a full desk or chair replacement.

Great product overall!Installation tip : For those having a hard time installing the plastic cap underneath (that keeps falling), I strongly suggest to use a Vise-Grip to screw/fix it. There is not enough grip to twist it by hand. Mine is fully clipped and will never fall off again!

I actually quite like this mouse shelf. However, it is awkward using the mouse on it especially with my wrist gel pad. Barely any room to move the mouse around even without the gel pad. And when I use my gaming mouse which is larger its super awkward because my gaming mouse is bigger. Kinda disappointing for that reason.
