Obviously, if you are looking at this item, you are cool with the whole "man bag" or "murse" concept. I have a larger leather shoulder bag that I use for travel or business that is great. But when I'm just going out on errands or for the night, this is perfect for storing all those little things that you don't want in your pockets. I really REALLY hate having crap in all my pockets. This keeps everything out of the way and sorted for easy access. This is what I usually have on me...keys, wallet, phone, smokes, lighter, gum, ipod, sunglasses. It all fits! The top cell phone pocket works for my crappy low-fi cell phone - but I don't think an Iphone or blackberry would fit (but you could just use the other pockets). One of the front zippered pockets is pretty tiny for getting your fingers in...but I'm sure if you've got something small to hide, this would be good. The leather is surprisingly pretty good quality, except on the bottom of the pouches (where it is collapsable) where it is thinner. I'm hoping it will wear okay. It's attractive and sleek...I would totally be okay wearing it out with something a little dressy. It's not going to be as cumbersome or attract as much attention as a full on man-bag (maybe you don't want your buds to mock you like Zack in the Hangover). And seriously...for the price, it's great value. If I could get one in brown, too, I would. Try it out. If you don't like it...your not out much coin!

Arrived way before the estimated delivery date and the companyemailed me every step along the process and notified me when it was sent out.This Hobo Bag is the Bomb !There are times when I just want to use a smaller bag for keys-phone-creditcards-ID and other smaller doodads and this bag is perfect with room left over !For the front biggest pocket I put my Kindle Fire in it and it fits width wisebut the kindle fire sticks out about 1/5th which is fine by my me because my Kindle is covered which keeps it secured because width wise it's a nice secured fit. Even tho this bag isn't intended for a Kindle Fire I just wanted to see if it would work for a walk to the park or train ride to work.I'm very happy about this becasue I know it isn't going to fall out !Plus I'm still able to fit all the other things mentioned above in all the other pockets and if I don't carry the kindle fire I have tons of extra room which is the biggest front pocket ..oh yeah !The bag seems well made and doesn't look cheap at all and has a nice wideadjustable strap that won't dig into yor shoulder.The phone pouch will work for a older flip phone but anything bigger won't fit..I use the front lower pouch for my phone. To give you an idea of the size of the phone pouch a box of marlboro cigarettes fit perfectly snug.Phone pouch has velcro and everything else has zippers.I recieved the bag today so I will update after a few months to see how itholds up but so far I'm very happy.

Seems like a very nice bag but it is A LOT smaller than I expected. I can't get everything I need on a daily basis in this bag. So if your a woman who carries a good amount of stuff everyday in her purse than this is probably too small for you. I of course understand that this is actually meant to be a man's bag, but I like this style and concept better than most women's purses.

The quality of the leather is just fine. A leather strap versus nylon would be so much nicer. The zipper compartments could have been made so much deeper without little more cost, and I would have been willing to pay more. Only 1 pocket is deep enough for my Sig P238. I will only use this for going out when I need to dress up a little more and don't want to carry my EDC bag.Others warned about how small the pockets were, but I just didn't believe them. They are small.

I like very much the design and size but using it everyday I have found some details that could be corrected for new editions.1. The upper cel pocket is only for cels like old flip flap Motorolas or small devices, when nowadays the tendency is to have bigger smart phones. My IPhone 4S do not fit on this pocket.2. The color of this pocket fade in the first week of using. Now the original color of the material is coming out make it looking old.3. The strap size regulator is getting loose permanently, so I have to be regulating and adjust frequently.

I bought this bag, and I really like it. Is nice and just the perfect size for the reason I got it. The reason why I didn't gave 5 stars was, the little pocket on top... is too small for a cell, but my old small camera fit perfectly... and I used just for a weekend, and I see a rip in the lower cord, attached to the bottom... Is a small rip but If I don't fix it, will waste.

I gave this to a friend for Christmas. The quality was good for the price, size perfect for one who carries minimum stuff with her. And had the required adjustable strap. However. She is left handed and to wear this the way she needs doesn't work. She kept it but I can see it isn't working for her. It needs to fit over the opposite shoulder than for which it is designed. My bad.

Was looking for a man type purse, instead of wearing the fanny pack. I like my hands free. I hadn't found anything that actually worked. This is the best I've found. There are some design flaws for me because i like to wear the bag cross shouldered and actually need one designed to sling. This leaves the bag a touch awkward to reach in, but it's fine till i see one that might work better for me. I think if you wear it on the shoulder as designed it'll be fine!
