Just as advertised

Just not at all what I expected. It was supposed to be large but fits in the palm of your hand. Ridiculously overpriced and once destroyed you are left with a crappy toy in the middle. If they cost £5 they would be ok.

Very disappointed that the squeaker has stopped working in just a couple of weeks.

Quite expensive given how quickly my little terrier was able to destroy it (all fabric shredded), squeak broken and rubber egg shredded.

My dogs love this toy. Made very well.

I have a large dog (Staffordshire Shepherd Pit mix) that loves to tear apart things.The last toy I bought he had ripped it apart and had the spiky squeak ball out in less than 2 weeks. This one it's been almost a MONTH and he has not ripped open the body. The squeak is quiet because it's still encased in stuffing and cloth. He loves to chew on it.The flower and one arm were torn off within 2 days of giving this to him upon delivery.This toy either is very well made or my dog wants to make this toy last longer than the other. Irony is that I want him to rip into it so I can see the actual size and color of the squeak ball; also to know how loud it is once it is finally revealed.3/28 So the squeaker broke before my dog even revealed it .. I could hear it rattling around still. I contacted customer service and they sent a new one. It wasn't the same as the cactus but it is still nice of them to do.Oh and when dog finally revealed the blue spiky football he was no longer amused. The first layer was the smiling cactus and the second is a sad cactus. It's adorable and the stitching on the second layer was not as tough as the first one.

Mini review: Our mini dachshund who obliterates every toy in his path is obsessed with it. Has lasted for 10 days now. The "final" toy seems very strong and will last for a long time. Excellent value, we're buying more toys from this brand as a result.Longer review: Our mini dachshund has some incredible chewing power. He destroys most toys in about ten minutes, even ones that are described as tough. And once he's destroyed them, he loses interest instantly. All of these things had me expecting that this toy would be just like all the rest. Cute and fun for a few minutes, but nothing more. Well we were blown away.It's really cute and well designed. Our pup seemed to love getting at what was inside. He never tried to ingest any of the fabric and best of all, there is NO FIBER FILLING. Fiber filled toys are the bane of my existence. The only material inside, apart from the "second" toy is a thin mesh liner printed with the Barkbox logo and text saying "time to throw me away" to remind the pet owner to toss the now damaged outer shell. We thought this was a really nice touch. Also the innermost rubber spiky ball (it's what's inside the sad-faced part of the toy) seems to be scented like coconut? I wasn't expecting this but it was kind of a nice surprise, admittedly. Dog toys can get pretty rank after awhile but this one still has a nice tropical smell to it.Anyway, this toy has incredible value for us and we felt that it was well-designed. We're buying more and will for a long time. I wish I had paid attention to the Barkbox brand years ago!
