This is the second one of these that I have bought since my son took claim of my blue one. That's him and his (was mine) Blue Camel Crown Jacket. It regulated our body temperature even with only one base layer in 20+ degree temps. Good gear doesn't have to be expensive. Truly a wind proof and water repellant outer fabric. The inner lining is quite comfortable too. FYI: If you wash it, spray a layer of fabric water repellent after it dries. You probably have washed most of repellent that was there previously.

Not sure how its going to hold up over time but it looks and feels great. Really comfortable and warm and it seems really well put together. $40 seems like an excellent value for this level of craftmanship
